Guy whose connections with NFL I respect weighs in on Suh-gate: "Shocked. I think he'll win his appeal."

Was he talking to the Head Coach?

Is that a serious question?

You might need to R-E-L-A-X just a little bit.

I'm chillin' like Bob Dylan.

Honest question Chus and I will be done. When he steps on the 2nd time and lifts up his other foot to put all of his weight on him, you don't think that was on purpose?

Thats because you are. I said Albert Belle was an asshole but I rooted for him because he wore a White Sox uniform.

You clearly cannot admit that Suh is a dirty player. Or that Ansah was in the wrong for hitting Claussen in the head. You are clearnly blinded by silver and blue.

He definitely could have avoided it. I don't think what he did was as bad as what Raiola did. Anybody who has sight has to agree.

I said that Suh has earned his reputation, and I didn't defend Raiola. Not for one second. You're not very good at reading, are you?

How are DBs supposed to tackle if it's a cheap shot to hit high, and hit low?

You have created a hypothetical situation, and have horribly mis-represented my position, on multiple occasions. You think he should be suspended. I disagree. What is the point of continuing this?

Yep the NFL has basically said we don't care if players get their knees blown out.

Ridiculous.

Not really. Just like Rodman, you would love him if he played on your team.

I hate him. I'm not a Bears fan. Plus, Haynesworth was dirty as hell, and I couldn't stand every second of his tenure in Washington.

The foot to Gurode's face was probably the worst thing that I have seen on a football field. Far worse than anything Suh has done.

Suh will probably be a Redskin next year. Snyder would love to land the top defensive free agent.

I feel your pain, greg. I hated Shockey, and I hated when he joined the Saints...but I hated even more that I found myself rooting for him. That's the deal with sports. You can't help it...you're a fan. You're going to root for bad guys sometimes. There's no question I would have this dilemma with Suh. I hate Jimmy Graham and wish he would join a team that I loathe so it would feel a little easier.

It's the pain and glory of being a sports fan.

I very much expect the Bears to sign him

Suh's suspension has been lifted. He has been fined $70,000.

league really holding ground there. LOL

if this isnt a playoff game, I assume he sits.

Not really sure why the fine gets reduced though?

Good, that's not a suspendable offense. It's dirty so hit his pocketbook.

I guess in the end they don't want to step on anybody's legs ... I mean, toes.

The NFL is having a really bad year at the whole "make a decision" thing.

That's my favorite argument in support of Suh.

"If this was some unknown backup lineman, would there be this much outrage??"

Um, well, no.

N. Suh will be fined $70,000 and get to play game in which each Lions player collects $22K for WC round, per @SportsTaxMan. Costs Suh $48K.

And:

This game was the first game that Suh was off of the NFL's "repeat offender" list.
What a coincidence!

Suspending him for a playoff game is not equal to suspending someone for a regular season game

so? should've been suspended for a year with all the bullshit this guy has done. not to mention he wasn't even suspended for a regular season game.

Im just pointing out that you cant base it off what happened with Raiola. The league should have a policy in place for this kind of thing
