For a fan fiction finale, this is very well done...saw it in 3D only because the showing time was the most convenient...high price to pay. And it wasn't all that great.

I did think they'd throw all the LOTR characters in there just for the hell of it but didn't...the ending wasn't nearly as winding as ROTK but it did go on a bit longer. the way it wrapped up was satisfying though.

:D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

I enjoyed it even in a packed theater

one complaint about all of these movies is the speed and lack of context in which they throw out all the character and fantasy world names. It's impossible to keep up

If this makes sense, it was slow moving but enjoyable.

I just never liked the pace of all of these movies.

I give it 4 W_Z's out of 5 W_Z's.

I thought the CGI in some scenes was not up to the standards of the other two movies, or even LOTR (made a decade ago). But maybe I should have watched in 3D.

that's interesting...i didn't think the 3D was all that special but i thought the CG was exceptional.

yes, the pacing of these films is always going to be pretty slow. true fantasy epics pretty much have to have it this way.

Nothing "epic" about these Trilogy of Turds.

They're bad movies.

No big in-depth essay required.
