Kinda interesting as I actually listened quite a bit to the ol' WSCR today. Both Mully/Hanley and Rozner (less so Spiegel) were more dismayed about the McCaskeyness of yesterday's press conference. A distinct difference than with Bernstein late yesterday when he basically said 'oh, my Bears guy texted me and told me what I wanted to hear, and that's the truth'.

Like I said yesterday, Bernstein has some sort of agenda here. The press conference was weird and bad. Everybody knows it was. He said it was great. He's the only one.

If and when he's sure his friends won't get the President job, then he'll break bad on Teddy and George.

Are they going to be on today? It's 1:25 and Spiegs and Rozner are still on.

I don't quite get the press conference love either. In the end, you still have the 2 idiots who hired Testman/Emery making the hiring decision. Accorsi can bring them all the qualified candidates they want but the two goofballs are still making the decision. Why would anyone think it will be any better? Different, sure, but better? I didn't come away from that presser with that confidence.

Can Dan prove this? Pro football focus might have done a study. Yellers vs. Non yellers. Who has the better winning percentage. Bet you it's the yellers.

Not necessarily because they yell. But it might be indicative of a coach that won't get walked over. So yelling might matter in the sense that it means your authoritative.
