What he did to Rodgers was BS, and I say that as a staunch hater of the dirty Green Bay Packers.

Sounds like he got really lucky. He was no longer a "repeat offender" based on a rule change this year. If he had done it the game before, or if they didn't count two preseason games a year he isn't playing because he was a repeat offender up until then.

Good for him for beating the system. I'm sure in another 33 games he'll try and end someones season or career.

According to you, hitting high is a cheap shot, and tackling low is a cheap shot (Nelson hit on Bell). How are players supposed to tackle, if they can't go high or low?

I drove to Champaign for that game. When he elected to kick off, I stood up, and walked to the car. Edinger hit the FG just as I cracked a beer from the cooler in the car. It took five hours to get home, due to the snowstorm that hit. That was an awful day.

Selfishly, I didn't want him suspended. He's a great villian. Dallas/Detroit is back to being probably the best Wild Card game.

You completely misrepresented my position on Suh and Raiola. You claimed that I said Suh has never done some dirty things. You also claimed that I defended Raiola. Those are both completely untrue. Only a dunce could read what I said, and make the claims that you did.

Just admit that you were wrong, and let's move on, before this gets ugly.

The whole point here is that he barely avoided suspension and you said some quote about "ifs and buts". We could have said the same thing to you when you were trying to say it was wrong.

It also wasn't ticky tack. Do you understand why he isn't suspended? It's because he isn't a repeat offender based on rules that were introduced this year. If he had sat out one extra game this year or if he had done it the week before he would have gotten a one game suspension. If he had gotten in trouble for the multiple other incidents he has had during that time frame he would have gotten a one game suspension. This is no way means that he didn't do anything wrong. He just isn't considered a repeat offender even with his huge history.

If those are the rules then that is how it should be but it doesn't absolve what he did. Now he has to be good for 32 more games before he can do something like that again or he'll be looking at a suspension.

I never defended Raiola, not for a second, despite claims to the contrary. The only comparison I made was that I don't think what Suh did was anywhere close to what Raiola. I didn't have much to say about Raiola, because it was an obvious cheap shot.



The only ifs were about the extremely lucky breaks that benefited the Bears (muffed punt, roughing the punter, no P.I. on Megatron in the end zone), and that was just to illustrate that the game wasn't as close as the score indicated, but point taken. With regards to Ansah, all I said was that he dove before Claussen did.
