and for the record, dude, it's not my fault that curious hair is the best damn poster on the board. i just give him his credit because the guy is about as good as it gets on teh CSFMB in terms of knowledgeable/on-topic posting. i didn't even suggest that the awards be named after him, somebody else did that and i just took it and ran with it cuz when you have, example, avatar of the year i mean nobody else comes close to the work CH put in on the avatar tip. senor columnist in and of itself is prolly a top-5 all-time CSFMB avatar, and it might not even technically be his best as monet-ize everything was rather brilliant but not necessarily as appreciated as the visceral hook of dan-in-a-sombrero with the text SENOR COLUMNIST making fun of his SENIOR COLUMNIST position.
so yeah, strictly on the CSFMB-posting level i do have a CH boner because i enjoy reading the guy's posts because he's a pillar of this board in terms of having a 95%+ rate of excellent posts. and when you've been saying that for a couple'a years it gets old going "yeap, curious hair is still the standard by which we measure our avatars/posters of the year" so i decided to take someone else's suggestion and run with it, naming the award/s he was sure to win after him, and even making it a self-parody/caricature by teh end of the post as i think bigfan won THE CURIOUS HAIR CHICKEN / TOWNSTONE FINANCIAL CSFMB BOARD OWNER OF THE YEAR AWARD. so yeah when i'm recognizing the absurdity of what i did before i even finish the damn post i did it in, idk if you're exactly shining some much-needed-light on an issue that everyone needs to know more about as much as you're just sticking up for a guy who might show up and hang out with you by doing your badass-internet-posting-legend thing and throwing some shade at the guy who's never gonna let mr. THE MAN live down the whole "kindered blackhawks fan" thing because that, in a word (kindered), sums up the phenomenon.
TLDR = of course i have a CSFMB-hardon for CH because the guy is the best poster on the board. i like coming here and hanging out and posting, so go figure i like the work put in by the best poster on the board. forgive me for liking quality things. next time i'll try to embrace the real spirit of the year-end-awards and only give them out to my circlejerky friends who were there with me when i made 500 posts in the latest CSFMB-politics thread (not to be confused with IRL politics threads on the CSFMB, as i clearly mean posts only about the day-to-day circlejerk of the CSFMB)
