Shit. What happened? I like Memelo.

Edit: I just read the press release on the Larz site. Memelo, Koz, and Geiser are no longer with the station. Damn. First The Game, then this. WTF is Jimmy DC doing?

Koz, was terrible! lol

Heard him a couple of weeks ago, was first surprised he was still there, but it sounded like he was eating a sandwich, plus he didnt know players on the Bears , didnt sound like he wat hed the last game...

You could hear the paper wrapper from the subway sammy...then the bite and him trying to talk with his mouthfull, was kind of disgusting.

Yes, this guy played WR for the Bears for 6 years!

Yea, Koz was terrible, but I like Memelo. There are quite a few radio sports guys who are currently out of work.

I knew better, but I listened to the "2.5 Bears" post-game a couple of weeks ago. Still brutal. Apparently, they told Hampton to go "full-on O.B.", as he was "angry" and yelling for no particular reason; then, went they went to the Tresty presser, they were doing the B&B mock job. Very forced and very bad.

Memolo has a job on a MLB SiriusXM station, and Koz is gainfully employed. Hampton still can be a lifelong mascot, but please don't anyone ever bring him anywhere near a microphone ever again.

EDIT: never mind - Manley said in the PR that Koz and Hamp will be back for next season's Bears coverage  :puker: :pukel:

While this is the end of "Sports Central," this may not be the end of sports talk on WGN-AM. A new show is supposedly being put together that will feature some of the former contributors to the ill-fated station The Game 87.7. This could include hosts such as Conner McKnight, Adam Hoge, and perhaps Jordan Bernfield.

Team Bernstein rides and sighs again!
