I don't subscribe to the "this or that pick" wasn't the QB's fault. Any more than a pitch that gets that put in the seats isn't on the pitcher. You threw the pass/pitch, you're on the hook for the result. Lucky TD counts in your stats same as an unlucky INT. Good QB's/pitchers make their own luck.
