People love to hold Q's "mistreatment" of rookies against him but struggle to list NHL coaches on contending teams who give long leashes to rookies. In the cases of Barry Trotz and Peter DeBoer, the teams don't even have to be contending.

I don't have the confidence in him to describe him as great. He's good but sometimes he fucks up. Just too inconsistent to be great.

If not for Crow, they don't even get to Game 7 of the WCF last season, let alone the semis....it could also be argued that he was the playoff MVP during the 2013 run to the Cup.
