yeah, the twitter consensus seems to be moving toward it being a money thing. Possibly she asked for a bigger
cut of the revenue her 2 shows + being on the main show were bringing in and Carolla balked with something like "well, yeah, you're bringing in more than I'm paying you now but that only begins to make up for the first year or two when I was paying your salary out of pocket" or something like that.

Tho I seem to recall when Adam Curry was on the podcast Carolla saying something along the lines of the crew was working for sub-standard wages with the promise of Carolla making it up to them down the road? Which Curry laughed at and told the crew straight up: "that never works out" and Carolla hasn't had Curry on since.

I thought the replay of Patton Oswalt and Jimmy Kimmel's Morning Zoo bit was pretty funny.

I wondered that too, with Jo Koy talking about stuff that happened over the holidays. Later in the podcast she mentions a tweet she sent that day, about the word "ensorcelled"; checked her twitter timeline, they recorded on Dec 1. I guess Koy meant the Thanksgiving holiday.

Or, maybe that means Adam is telling the truth. Maybe her podcast was getting so big she really isnt a sidekick anymore.

But saying "we tried it" is fucking crazy. She was on the show for 3 years

Top 10 possible reasons Alison is gone
1 Now that she's married Adam can't fuck her anymore (As Hussra and I have pretty much verified, Adam and Lynette clearly have an open relationship)

2. Alison's podcast was getting too popular for Adams liking (possibly to the point of losing listeners)

3. Gina is the new sidepiece and probably cemented it during Alisns hiatus

4. Adam thought having a liberal type on the shows for some give and take would work but got tired of it

5. Adam doesn't value the position. There are thousands of podcast chicks out there that can read the news and agree and they'll do it for peanuts

6. Adam was losing the team to Alison. Gary and the rest probably like Alison better

7. Alison, emboldened by a new marriage and growing podcast asked for a huge raise

8. Adam killed the dog

9. Adam is a fucking ego maniac

10. DAGs dong

But typical ACE.
He's the guy who will once a week go on a rant about paying taxes and people on welfare BUT has no problem begging his fans for money to finance a movie or lawyer bills.

The show hasn't been as good, less DFG, less DAG, and now no Alison.

The news feels too news-ey. She actually has a good voice if she was gonna do news on an actual radio show but ACS is more of a funny conversation about current events


And her fake laugh and unfunny drop ins were bad.


The thing about Alison is she never said anything cringe worthy. She never really missed on jokes. She didnt force em.

Haven't noticed Gina's fake laugh. I thought Alison's fake laugh was really annoying.

I used to not like Harland Williams, but I've become a fan.

Interesting, I like Alison's laugh. Never seemed fake.

Harland is ok. he usually has one phrase that he overdoes. One time it was "too soon"

Didn't notice that. I agree with you about Oswalt. I stopped following him on Twitter because of the Messiah complex he was getting. I know he can be silly, but he could also get really self righteous, which irritated me.
