All Crawford's fault.
Watch.

I'm not holding the entire game against Crawford, but he's been giving up early goals for days now, and that dribbler was not exactly a no-doubter, as dribblers rarely are. Really, though, just running into the same brick wall the Hawks ran into all year last year. As far as slumps go, this one hasn't been TOO bad, but it does bear mentioning that Nashville won their game and the Blues are up 4 on Phoenix with 20 to go.

They've won 20 of their last 26 games.

Which is awesome, but they've taken nine points and given nine in the last eight games, which isn't bad in and of itself, it's .500, but I just worry about the other two teams.

Honestly, at this point, they're in, it's just a matter of whether they're content to sink to third place again. There's gonna be some coasting from here on out. It's largely fine.

I was messing with you this time. Cooking the numbers to make it look favorable.
They are struggling a little, but that happens to every team every year. It's a long grind.

Teuvo has been rough to watch. I don't know about this guy.

Rozner among others says the Hawks are really in on Antoine Vermette. He comes here, that changes everything.

With retained salary and prorated down to 60-80 days, they might be able to get away with just Rozsival. Maybe Erixon also becomes redundant with TVR ahead of schedule. There's gotta be a way if people are talking about a team as strapped as the Hawks making a play for a #2 center (who'd be our #2 OR #3).

Was quite entertaining and frustrating at the same time. 54 shots. Damn.

Shit game. I still have to call the Winnepeg game more painful.

Oduya really screwed the pooch and gets the most of the blame for the start. That doesn't negate the fact that Crawford is not right and we've seen that over a number of games. I really wish they'd let him set and heal whatever the fuck is nagging him....physically or mentally. Breakaways are not on the goalie but he's gotta save the day once in a while.

I hate, hate, hate, hate, the shots on goal statistic. They keep going to it and it means nothing....we were down 2-0 and couldn't get the puck in the net. Period.

I think if we see 1 or 2 more bad games from Cro, Q will sit him for a few games. He's gotta be either hurt, out of shape, or too drinky. Hopefully not all 3!

Dude. He only got beat on 2 goals last night. A breakaway, and one where his defensemen left him all alone and he stopped the first shot, just got hit on a rebound from a ridiculous angle. That was a pretty good game actually. 2 fuckin goals.

It isn't just the Avs game. Look at his stats since returning. 3 days ago Q acknowledged that Cory isn't right. It's all over sports radio & print. I'm not breaking any news here about how Cro has been bad.

Keeping him on the ice is the better idea. Look what happened when he had ample free time.

I'm looking at all of his games since he came back from "injury". Again...there have been defensive lapses in front of him, but he's not been great either. Something's not right with him..he's much better than he's been playing.
