Stiller was okay in the Night at movies and I like zoolander, but there is something not lquite right about him.

I must admit, I don't know what to make of ZG. I don't know where he came from or why. However, his evolution from Doogie Howser to the Unabomber over the course of like 90 months is impressive.

I think There's Something About Mary and Tropic Thunder are great, then there is a big dropoff. Haven't seen Tenenbaums yet.

Aside from the film itself, it's one of my favorite soundtracks. "These Days," "Needle in the Hay," "Stephanie Says," ""Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard," "Judy Is a Punk," "Christmas Time Is Here," and Mothersbaugh's orchestral cover of "Hey Jude."

I liked The Grand Budapest Hotel as much as Royal Tenn's.
In fact, I think I liked it more.
And even though PSH shines WAY more in the scene, this is one of my favorite Stiller onscreen moments.

Did you listen to I Saved Latin! yet? It's spotty, but Juliana Hatfield's cover of "Needle in the Hay" is pretty outstanding.

i'd never heard of it til you mentioned it; but i just listened to the hatfield cover. it's ok. i mean, i'm not really all that into tribute albums and there's something very distinctly pleasant, unnerving, and heartbreaking the way smith performs that song...i can't really see anyone being able to capture that.

it's like anyone covering a nick drake song...just doesn't do it for me.

I only saw it once, and it was a long time ago, but I didn't enjoy The Royal Tannenbaoums. I enjoyed The Grand Budapest Hotel immensely. I also thought Fantastic Mr. Fox was a riot.
