Mannelly said that Ballard is the type of guy who would tell them what he needed to have for the job. And if he didn't get it, he would walk.

I'll be very curious to see if this is "a new way of business" at Halas Hall.

it would appear housing cleaning of the scouting dept. is sorely needed... but most fans seem to only care about the GM himself.... when the scouts are the ones doing the heavy lifting providing data to GM

Can the bears afford to clean house in the scouting department now given the draft is in 3.5 months?.... Where do you find new scouts? Are scouts on contracts and thus teams can block lateral hires? I'd ask Hub but he would dance around my question for 2 minutes because he doesnt know that type of detail

I'm going to go ahead and set a low bar: I just hope this guy doesn't sound like a boob at press conferences. Angelo, of course, was legendary for his sounding like a boob in his press conferences. And Emery simply didn't improve upon that much; in fact, he somehow actually sounded like Angelo.
