Leary is sitting in with the Snapper today. Our recently engaged creepster uploaded a picture of Mannelly this morning on Instagram. The hilarity of it all!!!

I am so sick of hearing people ask if the new player/coach/GM will be able to "handle" the Chicago media. Players, coaches, and GMs either say dumb things or say absolutely nothing all the time to the press in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago and somehow manage to survive.

I've never understood this either. I don't think the Chicago media is "tough" on guys.

The biggest danger they'd face is being interviewed by Mulligan.

the only guy dumber than the Chicago media was Terry Bevington. Odds are he can handle it.

See, Tad, the thing about the Chicago media, and I think Einstein said it best when, when, when, uhhh. Well, Urlacher is no longer here. Hester, he's in Atlanta now. Lance is out opening BBQ restaurants in San Diego or wherever. And those guys, those guys knew how to talk to the media. And these new guys, Clausen, Briggs, and uh, uh, Cutler, and Clausen, they just don't uh, well, the media. It's like they don't even want to talk to the media. And let's be honest, back to Einstein, it's not like Jimmy Clausen ever said anything, but that's not the point. Pace, he's been in New Orleans. They have Brees, Payton, Graham, Colston, and uh, Ingram. They have some players. Joe Horn hasn't been there in years, but he was a good player. So Pace, Pace faced the New Orleans media, which it's not a great city, but it hosts a lot of sporting events. Super Bowls, Final Fours, etc. And I don't see anyone beating Seattle in this year's Super Bowl. Back to New Orleans, the po-boys there are to die for. I bet Pace is going to miss not being able to find a good po-boy in Chicago. Now, are there any authentic Louisiana creole restaurants in Chicago, Tad?

As soon as I heard Leeeeeeeeery's voice I tuned in AM 1000.

Might tune back to The Score @ 11 for the live presser.

However, 1000 is carrying it live as well. Hmmm... decisions, decisions.

Carmen & Jurko are having Lance Briggs in studio @ noon today.

I heard Leary go into some proclamation of Manelly getting Ultra inside info from someone on Pace and thats why he wasnt able to start the show with leary and he was doing it for us "the listener".

Such a pud, but he works cheap so, he keeps a job! <click>

Kissing ass as usual...when Mannelly goes to another station, watch Larry take shots at him.

It is exactly the opposite of tough. Most of the sports media in this town are sycophants who giggle like little schoolgirls every time one of their idols talks to them.
