Gotta think the end is drawing near for Mike Yeo MTV Raps. Some may say it's not his fault that Harding broke his foot kicking a wall or that Vanek packed it in when he got his last big contract, but I've never been impressed with Yeo. He always has the baffled, superficially alert look of a kid who got caught falling asleep in econ: "what, what, I'm awake." As a tactician, people threw laurels on him every time he finally realized he should forecheck the Hawks a little harder to get them off their game, as if "hey, let's not just passively gum up the neutral zone" is some kind of revelation. I'll lol if they replace him with Randy Carlyle; that horse's ass has ridden Chris Pronger's career year like a cruise around the world.

I think subbing out Claude Noel for Paul Maurice really improved the team as well. Maurice's teams can be boring, but that's better than the shitshows Noel was putting on, leaving guys wide-open all over the ice.
