His body just broke down from the strain of carrying all that loot he stole from Reinsdorf.

Let's hope the same thing happens to Jay Cutler... sooner rather than later.

I would've thought he would stick around to hit the 500 HR mark.

Dunn pretty much said he was retiring back in October. This is old news.

I doubt anyone was offering him a contract. Not for anything much over the minimum anyway. Might as well go hunt and fish and live off the interest of what's already tucked away.

This is correct. He announced that he would retire back on October 1st, and was released by the A's on October 9th.

How fucking stupid are you?

Lots of guys say they intend to retire or are strongly leaning towards retiring because they know nobody is going to want their sorry ass. I believe that applies to the Swamp Donkey. It's a bit less embarrassing than waiting around for offers, getting none and then retiring. I'm sure if a team would have been dumb enough to offer a decent contract, a change of heart might have taken place.

Maybe Cuba will sign him since they are the favorites for the WS this year.

Idiot.

Cuba???....You seem very angry these days Frank. Life not working out for you these days? Angry because (like JORR) you know the dawn of a Cubs reign over Baseball is near and there is nothing you can do to stop it?
