My favorite episode was on today. Starz I think it's on. Some Damn pay channel.
Anyway, it was "paper tiger", the one where magnum and Higgins play increasingly naughty pranks on each other.
Good stuff.

Paper tiger was good I liked "Did you see the sunrise" where he kills the guy for killing his friend.

Is it too late to fire John Fox and hire Magnum as Bears coach?

One of my fave shows when I was a yoot. Swayed me to go Navy instead of Marines back then. Prank episode was indeed very good.

 Most women did, FS. Now they love Blue Bloods for the same reason. Mrs. Godfella was/is/always will be a fan.

This was the first show I remember that got away from the humdrum Quinn Martin type BS of mystery of the week. Somebody dies and line up the suspects. Magnum had a personality and argued, goofed around with his buddies. TV really didn't have anything like that before.

Here is some irony. The guy who played the Russian Baddie in the "Sunrise" episode is one real life American hardass!: Bo Svenson

Served in the U.S. Marine Corps 1959-1965.

He was television's highest-paid actor for his reprisal of Buford Pusser in the television series Walking Tall (1981). Only Johnny Carson was making more than he was at the time.

U.S. Armed Forces Far East Heavyweight Division Judo Champion (1961).
A high-ranking black belt in judo and other martial arts, he was inducted into the Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame on August 8, 2009.
Won silver in the 2009 USA Judo National Championships despite three broken ribs suffered days earlier.

Couldn't find it On Demand on Starz but maybe I wasn't searching right.

I have been DVRing this show as they play 2 episodes a night weeknights on the Encore channel. I am loving it. The acting and storylines
are fun/bad. I can't believe this passed for pretty good TV back in the day. I absolutely love it. Magnum's Ferrari 308GTS is still my dream car
that I would love to have as an everyday driver.

I doubt you would appreciate it much then. I love it because it was a favorite show of mine when I was like 9 and 10 years old.

Magnum's also on CoziTV Thursday nights.

My mom's favorite show, so I watched a lot of it growing up.

The guy who played Rick, Larry Manetti, is from Chicago & a Cubs fan.

Caught a 2 part episode last night and this morning featuring a young Dana Delany. Hard to believe she will be 60 years old this spring. Picture
below is from the episode circa 1986. Always been a bigfan of hers. 8)

One of them had the Yankee coach from Bad News Bears as a quasi dirty cop. Good stuff.

Yes, she is really keeping it together nicely for her age.

Saw one of the last episodes of the series last night. Guest star.... none other than Frank Sinatra playing a retired cop trying to track down a
guy who killed her granddaughter. Pretty cool.
