Im feeling your pain a bit K-wood. Outside of Russell Wilson the rest of those fucks from Seattle can eat a dick. They made the plays when they had to I guess but this was a Green Bay gifted win more than anything.

I like Tomlin more than McCarthy. Also when you say Harbaugh I consider both better as well. My list:

Belichek
John Harbaugh
Coughlin
Tomlin
Jim Harbaugh
Arians
McCarthy

I need to see Carrol without a stacked cheap roster. His QB makes 500K

Ditka only went to conf champ twice, right?

Upon further review....you are correct...still similar idea, lots of talent only one win to show for it.

Watching Belichick and the Pats today really highlights the diffence between a head coach who puts his foot on your throat when his team is ahead, and a head coach who coaches scared and not to lose.
Pats were up 38-7, it's 3rd down and 4, and they throw the ball for the first down, in lousy weather. The Pats are rarely conservstive. That is a good coach who has confidence in his players and system.

I forgot 84, don't know why I was thinking the 49er's game was a divisional round game.

Am I crazy to think McCarthy is better than Ditka at this point?

McCarthy is better than the likes of Reid who are just perennial Conf. Champ guys.

I don't know why you'd think you were crazy...it's just your opinion using the eye test where I was just looking at the comparable numbers. Like the Bears were the class of their division (Central at the time) in the mid 80's to early 90's the Pack are now...It'll be interesting to see what happens the next few years.

I don't think Reid's that great but I've never seen him torpedo his team's chances of winning games as consistently as McCarthy has with awful in-game decisions.

True. I am curious to see if Bridgewater takes over Stafford next year or in 2 years. That Viking D is going to be a bitch for years to come as well.

Reid never torpedoed his way to a SB win either.

There's that.

He had a top 3 QB for years, the #1 WR for 1 year, and pretty formidable defense the whole time.

Rodgers is far superior to McNabb. Just repeating McCarthy won a ring does not gloss over his terrible record when it comes to in game decisions. Again I don't think Reid is particularly good at all but I've never seen him hurt his team's win equity as much as McCarthy has/

Which coaching moves made you think he was competent at his job today? The field goal from the 1? The field goal from the 2? The field goal on 4th and 1? Not being ready for a fake field goal that should have been completely obvious in Seattle's spot? Shelling up on offense with a reachable lead in the second half because he was fixated on getting an utterly meaningless rushing attempt total of 20 (RIP Irish Boy)? Even the timeout at the end of regulation was utterly putrid since he voluntarily chose not to run down the clock and left Seattle with enough time to both return the kick and run a play.

There really is no limit to the attention whoring of the Bennett brothers. I'm glad a teammate told him to cut the clowning when he tried to give Carroll rabbit ears during the awards presentation. He tried to play it off as no big deal but you could tell he knew he was in for some trouble if he didn't stop immediately.

It was funny though when he took the police officers bicycle for a ride around the stadium after the game. Every team needs a clown.

I don't mind a clown, a guy whose goal is to have fun with life. I think the Bennett's goal is to do get noticed because they aren't really funny

There was a lot of crying on the field this weekend.
