These trailers they're running are gonna sell this movie. Especially since they bought the time on NFL playoffs. It's gonna do huge box office.

But I agree. Him crying like a bitch was the bad trailer. They've done about 4 or 5 different ones. But I guess the "Crying like a bitch" one is to get the female audience. So maybe it's calculated.

Plus this is based on the real guy. But Clint Eastwood made a lot of shit up.

You know these movies are basically recruitment tools. Government is involved with Hollywood for this shit.

I read something that after TOP GUN came out in the mid 80s, air force enrollment went up by a lot.

The Army is a HUGE sponsor for the NFL as well.

I know there is some sad shit in these movies. But it's also about getting the pretty girl and being a hero. Very impressionable to 18 year olds.

They couldn't fool me at 18, though. I knew I was gonna get drinks thrown in my face by girls if I was in the army or a regular civilian.
