Can you please consolidate all the draft threads? I'm getting confused.

my guy is DOA even before we get to the combine

I wanted to keep Cutler anyway

Best arm here so far is Garrett Grayson.

Watched some you tube on him last week. Looks good. Of course, all you tube highlights make anyone look good but his arm is impressive

That's a relative grade because, by all accounts, all the other QBs there are horrible.

It's just a horrible year for QBs in the draft, depth-wise.

So biggie, here's your guy. The next Big Ben.

Small schooler Jerry Lovelocke from Prairie View A&M had the most impressive physique but lacked urgency to his drop backs and was consistently late processing coverage information. Lovelocke can spin a clean ball and hit every level of the field, but he’s behind the eight ball in terms of footwork, progressions and overall passer instincts. He’s a big, athletic and strong-armed project that could draw priority free agent grades from teams.

Why? Doing so makes absolutely no sense, unless you are obsessed with the idea that the Bears need to win 5-8 games next year.

The smart strategy is to jettison Cutler, Marshall, and most of the team's other high-priced veterans. The Bears will then be set with a top-3 pick in the 2016 draft, which looks like a significantly stronger year for quarterbacks.

If Ryan Pace keeps Cutler on the roster next year, he is either terminally stupid, Sweaty Teddy's puppet, or both.
