Speculatively you think Mannelly wouldn't say anything just because? He called out Briggs, so why dummy up for Marshall?

You speak of New York, Twitter, and a post-game (locker room humiliating loss), as though your insight/information is superior because it's speculation. And that means Marshall has to go, because he's that 1.5 consensus. "Front office" types don't often get close enough to players to know anything of which to speak, and those other personnel that come around the athletes tend to know better. aside from Bernstein and Rosenbloom (the .5) who else has dragged on and on about Marshall?

I'm saying I don't think people are calling up Mannelly saying Marshall is an issue. They just don't even want to get involved.

We'll see what happens. If Marshall is on the team next year then he obviously isn't a major problem. If he is gone then we know he was.

I like Kasper in the booth but his radio interviews are comical. It is OK for the PBP guy to occasionally throw in some criticism on....oh......anything. I think it started for me when he suggested retiring Kerry Wood's number. And with Bernstein interviewing him? Keep it.

Bernsie does not like when Patrick says things opposed to HIS narrative at all. Whether Gould said it on the air Mannely is buds with Gould and many more. He knows what went on. He says Marshall no problem then it is no problem. Now Bernsie claims Marshall and Cutler are not even friends anymore due to some comment on TV not inside info. Marshall and Cutler are probably hanging laughing their asses off at that jack ass.

Bernstein clearly has someone from the front office of the Cubs and the Bears feeding him information. He flat out admits it for the Cubs! All of a sudden after he became Cubs mouthpiece(They are laughing at newspaper columns in the Cubs front office!) he started getting pretty knowledgeable on the Bears too in a way that was very favorable towards management.

Again, if you don't think Brandon Marshall is a problem in the locker room then that is fine. His whole career, and multiple well known things from last year indicate otherwise. Honestly, the best thing you can say about Marshall with the Bears is that he has avoided getting arrested.

I don't understand why the release must be this year. Why not hold on this year and cut next year along with Cutler, Allen and possibly Houston.
