Apparently not.

Maybe he's just delivering Jimmy John's.

They don't want the Ravens to make the worst OC decision of the year.

The Len Casper segment is 10x worse than Steve Stone ever was.

It might as well be a commercial for Theo and the Cubs. I'm not sure there was even one slightly negative word said outside of "They need to score more runs" while basically saying they will.

downloaded the first hour to get some hot Rose takes, had to skip the few callers ("watch out, they'll be terrible!"  ) but did hear the post-hangup of one where Dan said "don't give me 'people you talk to', say what you gotta say".

hey buddy...

(Then the next guy got yelled at for saying hello)

Well I now know why Dexter Fowler is a "real ass baseball player." He signed an autograph for Lil Danny's kid at spring training.

i have no idea. every time a caller asks him why marshall is such a bad person his response is "if you have to ask that you have no idea. he called a fan out for a fight! what more do you need to know!?"

well, dan, i need to know a lot more. because marshall fights citizens on the field every day... whats so different about a fan?

Earlier seemingly a black man that had a very deep masculine voice called in. Started with how are you guys today. Nothing from Dan as far as fine or a sigh but Terry with a jubilant doing fine buddy how are you? Hmmmm.

This suprises you? It is not what is actually done/said by a person but if they like you or you are part of CBS synergy.

 I've heard Dan say that a few times. Fowler never struck me as such. Maybe it's because I need to dig deeper into the advanced metrics. Though, as of now, the #optics don't match up.

Kasper is baseball Zach Zaidman. I don't believe Cubs fans want to hear that and there is no way Sox fans do. He serves no purpose other than to further embolden Bernstien's non critical approach to the Cubs.

If I were to guess it would not be worth getting involved in for any of those players. You'll hear a lot whenever Marshall is gone.

They couldn't even get Gould to say anything negative after Marshall ripped him in the locker room where all the reporters could hear.

Speculatively you think Mannelly wouldn't say anything just because? He called out Briggs, so why dummy up for Marshall?

You speak of New York, Twitter, and a post-game (locker room humiliating loss), as though your insight/information is superior because it's speculation. And that means Marshall has to go, because he's that 1.5 consensus. "Front office" types don't often get close enough to players to know anything of which to speak, and those other personnel that come around the athletes tend to know better. aside from Bernstein and Rosenbloom (the .5) who else has dragged on and on about Marshall?

We'll see what happens. If Marshall is on the team next year then he obviously isn't a major problem. If he is gone then we know he was.

Agree big time on this.

I like Kasper in the booth but his radio interviews are comical. It is OK for the PBP guy to occasionally throw in some criticism on....oh......anything. I think it started for me when he suggested retiring Kerry Wood's number. And with Bernstein interviewing him? Keep it.

So who do you think, that has the better proximity to the situation, is willing to call up Bernstein and get "involved" but would not call Mannelly? Surely you don't believe that Bernstein can reach out and get better information than Mannelly? One guy has a phone full of contacts of guys who are on the roster and is still friendly with many, the other guy has what?

In all matters of "the locker room" go with Mannelly.

Bernsie does not like when Patrick says things opposed to HIS narrative at all. Whether Gould said it on the air Mannely is buds with Gould and many more. He knows what went on. He says Marshall no problem then it is no problem. Now Bernsie claims Marshall and Cutler are not even friends anymore due to some comment on TV not inside info. Marshall and Cutler are probably hanging laughing their asses off at that jack ass.

Oh and another thing their Doctor Death thing didn't stick at all anywhere. Fucking idiots. Of course, Trestman was a disaster at head coach but he interviewed around the NFL and got a three year contract. That and the nickname makes them look silly.

Bernstein clearly has someone from the front office of the Cubs and the Bears feeding him information. He flat out admits it for the Cubs! All of a sudden after he became Cubs mouthpiece(They are laughing at newspaper columns in the Cubs front office!) he started getting pretty knowledgeable on the Bears too in a way that was very favorable towards management.

Again, if you don't think Brandon Marshall is a problem in the locker room then that is fine. His whole career, and multiple well known things from last year indicate otherwise. Honestly, the best thing you can say about Marshall with the Bears is that he has avoided getting arrested.

I don't understand why the release must be this year. Why not hold on this year and cut next year along with Cutler, Allen and possibly Houston.
