are you fucking kidding me?

roasts are for people that deserve praise. they used to be for legendary people only.

the only way this roast should go down is them throwing a few zingers at beiber then mid show just telling him to leave and make his sorry ass walk out. fuck you comedy central, this is a complete sell out stunt.

but he will treat it like Courtney Love by responding to everything and breaking up the momentum...no way he sits back and just lets the comedians do their thing

I think this will be good

No one cares about offending him anymore so if he tries to interrupt or break the flow the roasters probably just remove the gloves

Too easy.
And don't the roasters usually spend more time cracking on their fellow roasters, than the roastee?
I'll still watch it.

if they were going to literally do that i would be all for this.

but they are going to sound off a bunch of stupid and lame jokes, and bieber will get massive publicity for it.

i cant believe anyone really wants this to happen

Best part of a roast is when the roastee roasts them back -- can't see Bieber doing well at that.

Too bad Greg Geraldo is dead. Ross should have a field day, though.

Listed to some Geraldo this past weekend, that guy was awesome!

If this is real, I gott give the little shit some credit right now for agreeing to do it, although I withhold the right to takke it back if he acts like a 5 year old.

good point... he will definitely look "situation" bad on his own... likely the only way this will be good... but will they piss him off enough that he brings out his inner beiber?

i won't, exactly for that reason. and the roasts have been done to death. every good idea has to be driven into the ground.

theyre still good when the roastee is a legend. william shatner and charlie sheens were awesome. half the reason was the people they brought with them.

thats why this has to be a joke. who will be justins date? his mom? and will anyone on the dias be his friend if things get bad like happened with the 'situation'?

i dont see why anyone but comedy central would want this to happen, so it makes me wonder if the guests agreed just so they can humiliate beiber on a national stage... i mean really make him feel bad not just roast.

The James Franco roast was hilarious but nothing better than the Pam Anderson roast.

Giraldo's roast of Joan Rivers is one of the funniest bits ever.

Nah, you guys are thinking of the Dean Martin Roasts. THAT was an honor

The new generation roasts have all been of people who were already jokes in and of themselves (Hasselhoff, Courtney Love, Shattner)

Fwiw the Roast Battle held at The Comedy Store right now are awesome. Going to be a show soon. Watch for it. The CC roasts though are pretty bad but they get ratings.

I don't like to rip on "musicians" because music is so subjective and just because I don't like it, doesn't mean it's bad, but that kid is a complete hack. The shit that got him "discovered" was passable, but since he's become a "star", ugggh... what fucking garbage.

Gotta respect this kid - he did a great job coming up with this idea and following it through.

And, damn, that Natasha Leggero is pretty damn hot for an older chick!

The young kid from SNL stunned me. I thought he was the best or close to it for the evening and he led off! Martha Stewart's stuff was hysterical. I think Ross writes the stuff for non-comics. Snoop Dog had a few funny lines but then the weed kicked in. I agree about Leggero. She needs to get naked for something!!

kevin hart was the star of the show. this one really hurt without greg geraldo. ludicrous was the one that stood out as dumb. even beiber seemed fine, he obviously paid for his jokes because they werent bad. stark contrast to the situation- which is basically the same guy but the situation obviously wrote his own jokes

I think Geofrrey Ross got her with( paraphrasing) "Whitney Cummings is here, who is the one person who can definitively answer the question of who do you have to blow to be on one of these things

Caught this last nite..no good, Ross was solid n Natasha legero ..the rest were awful, Snoop n Ludacris were horseshit..neither are\ever been funny. Bieber took it well tho.

Comedy central just blows now...there ain't a god damn show that's remotely funny outside workaholics.

snoop is good. i remember a couple of roasts where he lit them up, it was great. not in this one though, he was lame as shit (especially after saying he wont hold anything back). ludacris fit his name very well, he was the worst.

ross and natasha were good and i thought the host did a great job
