Best part of the game was watching the Pitt coach scramble to avoid having Crosby match up vs Toews. Some argue that Toews is the best player in the NHL and on nights like last night its easy to see why. When the opposing coach is afraid to put the so called best player in the world on the ice vs a guy that's pretty telling.

37 games left and many of them look favorable. Two with the Panthers, two with the Hurricanes, two with the Coyotes, plus one each with the Devils, Blue Jackets, Oilers, and Sabres. On the other side of things, three with the Blues and two with the Jets, which loom large, especially with none left against Nashville.

My guess is that between a post-trade-deadline surge and some pre-trade-deadline Slackhawks, they'll wind up with 111 points, good for second or third, and almost certainly another first round against St. Louis.
