Nobody puts Bernstein in a corner!!!!!!

Spiegel did that today. Now Bernstein will fire him.

Last day Spiegel is on the air at THE SCORE. Pick a date.

June 17th

B&B got Jiggs and Murph fired.

Took a while for Murph, but they finally did it.

Bernstein's powers have grown. Won't take as long for him to get rid of Spiegel.

You're either with Bernstein or against Bernstein. Most of the young boys at the Score realize this and are with Bernstein as we have all heard. They recite his bible.

Spiegel won't do it. Good for him. But it means he's gonna have a full time band gig now.

The quarter ton vagina factory of feelings should have never gotten a new contract. Bernstein may be an unlistenable prick these days but is the way he treats Grimace any different than how grimace treats those he feels are below him like the interns and part timers?

The Matt and Matt show needs to become a thing to fight the powers!

I don't think Bernstein has that kind of pull anymore. It would be different if he was some type of ratings powerhouse and other radio stations would snatch him up in a second if he left the Score.

The truth is he won't work for another radio station in Chicago. Nationwide? Puh-lease, he hates taking calls and talking to callers. Unless he does a 180 this guy is one new program director away from being fired.

The midday ratings are more likely to do it than Bernstein.

Bernstein doesn't care. He is secure.

Mitch is scared/intimidated of him. Mitch will do whatever Bernstein tells him or Bernstein will have Mitch fired.

Spiegel and Mannelly Show reminds of when Dan McNeil was paired with Dan Jiggetts after the shows were broken up in 1999. Their personalities do not mesh. It is an awkward show and not a good listen.

speigs just isnt connected enough with sports. hes a fan and a marginally intelligent one. he just deflated his first football in his life at 45 years old this week.

mannelly is awesome but he needs a driver. him and mcneil would be perfect. hell him and north would be perfect.

In fairness to WSCR I have not listened to them in a while. I gobble up so many delicious podcasts and these guys are forced to regurgitate the sports news stories and make them interesting. Cable/Network TV as we know it and radio are all dead. Dan might figure something out.

Dan "The Score King" is safer than ever. Sadly I'm with BareDown on this one.

That was shocking today during transition with Spiegel attacking Bernstein. I couldn't believe my listening ears.

Everything that Bernstein dished out, Spiegel dished it right back to him, while keeping it completely civil.

I have new respect for Spiegel. He's no longer just Macneil's stooge. Actually, the Spiegel Mannely show has turned out better than I thought it would.

Exactly.

And Bernstein was exactly right about thick skin.

Does Lil Danny have the right to say anything about having thin skin?

Bernstein and Spiegel both block people on twitter for the slightest offenses.

Bernstein hangs up on anybody that disagrees with him and then calls them an idiot after they're off the line.

His skin is translucent.

My WSCR source is saying that Spiegel has already been fired, though it's likely that ongoing conversations are still being had at this time.

My source just texted me to say that this is 100% Mitch's decision, not Rod Zimmerman's, but Rod did say what he thought Mitch should do and that's his right.

Speigel needs to go. He is a terrible host. Bernstein and terry and the best. Speigel makes me turn to ESPN which I've never done before. Furious 5 sucks, speigel sucks. He shits all over the Blackhawks and the Bulls. What a waste of valuable radio time.

My source says that 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit is interested in him, but because of his family's love of this area, he won't relocate to Michigan.

NO ONE IS SAYING THAT. I just got a text from one of my people. They're reading this and they're laughing. They're laughing at you. They read what you write and they laugh. Spiegel is gone. They told you what they're doing.
