It was during my brief listen during transition that I heard Terry say that he had "a guy" right before Bernstein tried to lawyer/alibi/backtrack away from Spiegel calling him out on bullshit. These guys dont realize how silly they sound with two indepedent sources who give them exclusive and timely information to which they both (well one because the other is a parrot) propagate. As I listened to Dan explain how his guy is in the room when everything is going down (he's there every time, you know) and give himself a false alibi in that his source called him today, as he walked us through what the alleged thought process was and when. Total bullshit.

If you believe Boers and Bernstein have these impeccable sources, you believe that they are the only two people in the city who receive independent information that conveniently lines up with each other, the information comes early and often, sometimes during the show, and that no other reporters get this information.

You probably believe that the Bears (and other local teams) are so concerned that information in the news is so important that they feed it to the two most hateful, spiteful hosts in the city.

You probably accept that Bernstein's sources very rarely (exceptions would be when Bernstein is reporting on multiple occasions that Kyle Shanahan will be the OC and Dennis Allen will be the DC after Fox is close to being hired) give direct information and that any report made on that day is subject to change.

i think bernstein's guy has to be a mccaskey or ted phillips... no organization (not even the bears) would allow for this many "leaks" from underlings like hagel
