this is so awesome. the movies only problem were the two main actors. the good thing was they were playing characters that perfectly suited them so it was easy to turn off seth, and james was a disaster but its what the story called for so it didnt ruin the movie. it was a bit slapstick, with implausible permeable story line but there werent any dull parts and it really make a joke out of north korea in grand fashion.

harry and loyd should have done this movie. it would have been legendary. it was like the parts they tried to be funny were pretty dumb but when they made sure they had their facts right it was awesome and they did a great job. but all in all its very fitting movie for the hype it accidentally got. its patriotic, not lol funny but very entertaining and it definitely WILL piss off north korea in real life. 7/10

The portrayal of Kim Jong Un was pretty great. The rest was meh.

I just watched it. It had a few funny moments. It's what you would expect from a Rogen/Franco vehicle.

Watched this last night, was ok. Had some funny spots. Someone needs to quit letting Seth write shit while he is stoned. No doubt he is a weird dude, but some of his ideas are a little out there.

This is on Netflix. I'm watching it now. About half way thru. It's actually pretty hilarious. Full of gay jokes. Which is always good.

yea I watched it on Netflix as well and was surprised to find that I liked it. It was better than I expected by a fair margin.



I guess the idiots who paid to watch it and said it sucked actually went into it expecting it to be a great movie. I expected Pineapple Express and was happy to find it much better than that.

Finally saw it. rented it and had 30 days to watch it, so felt like I had to.

I just give the guys credit for hanging out, smoking a joint, ordering a pizza, scribbling the outline of a movie, selling it....then writing it! Not a Franco fan at all, but credit is due.

Look forward to the many cable showings.

I watched it because it was free on Netflix. It was less funny than I'd hoped, but I was a bit more optimistic than many, in that I wasn't totally sure it would suck. But it pretty much sucked.

You have to wonder about the opinion of an industry insider when she says not to worry about her getting fired as she will be producing big movies in the next year, including the remake of Ghostbusters starring four women in the lead.
