And how will they be able to compete with the Amazon's, TigerDirect's, and Newegg's of the world?

How have they made it to this point?

Best Buy had a good business plan and price matching Amazon. It's working well.

RPB trying to cash in on some penny stocks huh?

By charging companies to be a showroom. That's the new business model it seems like. Samsung needs a place to show off the newest gadget, buy space in our stores. We'll sell them but we still get paid by people looking at it and buying online.

...and big markups on telephone line splitters.

Price matching is the biggest factor....for Best Buy at least

it felt like a lot of the commercials were either cloying, pandering, or plain heavy handed. are these companies under the impression that we're so insecure about our country that we have to make ads pumping out this propaganda? commercials in general are bad but these were just so over the top and since the game sucked as well...it was just a painful night of television.

Pretty much if you don't laugh at that tweet, there's something wrong with you, not Colin.

The K900 commercial could have been better. Maybe even needed to be better. It is an important car for Kia.

I liked the Doberman mutt commercial and the Radio Shack one. The Butterfinger one had potential but I thought it fell flat.

I don't remember all that many...

I agree, these have jumped the shark.
I don't care about the game, and I don't care about the commercials.
I'll likely get together with some friends and enjoy the holiday it's become, but I doubt I'll watch the game or any commercials.

I never nor do I know anyone that got stuck putting on a T shirt at the age of 6+ as in that commercial! Pussification! Then called out DAD!...I know a few who might have called out MOMMY! They grew up in Deerfield.

There's a band I haven't heard anything about in nearly 15 years. Pretty sure I saw them back at the old Wheaton Theater.

I thought I read they weren't allowing the Carl's Jr. ad to air. Too racy.
