Next time I'll make another KONERKO NIGHT thread?

then you would be 17 behnd the actual number of Konerko nights the Sox will have. I believe they will have 2 more this year.
My favorite Konerko night happened in 2005.

Is BRick talking about Cubs Nation hating Nick Gordon, Alex Gordon or Gordon Beckham in this thread?

We have to get them in before they move to North Dakota.

Poor effect of gas about to drop below $45 a barrel. Lotsa shit could go bad, This might be one, the inevtiable relocation of the Sox to ND, where they would draw more fans.

Backpack night would be a winner so long as they put the sponsors label where it can be easily concealed. Those awful Miller lite patches ruin the halfway to St Patty's hats.

Thats because Cubs fans tell me their future HOF'ers are still in the minors.

I believe bigfan has started 17 threads on Konerko since the start of last season?

Still think Beckham puts it together one season and either makes an all star team or cones up huge in the post season

He's got the tools to do so. But so does Jay Cutler :(

Probably a greater chance of doing so than Javier Baez.

I always liked Beckham. I thought he was going to be a very solid (all star level at times) player. Seemed to have all the tools, but never did have the full season I expected he would.

Like most Kenny Williams draftees, he has all the tools except the most important one.

I don't think anyone has proclaimed Bryant or any other Cub prospect as a future HOF'er. I remember posters here proclaiming Beckham was bound for Cooperstown after his first two weeks in the majors.

I think there is a great chance that Baez never has a season to equal Beckham's best season so far. But.....with his bat speed, Baez has a chance to be a better hitter (power numbers wise) than Beckham. I wouldn't bet on Baez. I have seen too many swings without contact to be confident. But that bat speed generates a lot of power...

They don't actually say "Hall of Fame" but the numbers they suggest for him in his rookie season- his fucking rookie season!- are better than Longoria's best year.

1995 Andruw Jones (1) OF Atlanta Braves
1996 Andruw Jones (2) OF Atlanta Braves
1997 Ben Grieve OF Oakland Athletics
1998 Gabe Kapler OF Detroit Tigers
1999 Rick Ankiel LHP St. Louis Cardinals
2000 Josh Hamilton OF Tampa Bay Devil Rays
2001 Josh Beckett RHP Florida Marlins
2002 José Reyes SS New York Mets
2003 Prince Fielder 1B Milwaukee Brewers
2004 Jeff Francis LHP Colorado Rockies
2005 Francisco Liriano LHP Minnesota Twins
2006 Matt Garza RHP Minnesota Twins
2007 Justin Upton OF Arizona Diamondbacks

I did predict over 30 homers and 100 RBI for Bryant, provided he is called up by May 1st. I will not back off that either. I think he will be on the All-Star team by his 2nd year. He is a special talent.

I'm not sure if he has the horse cock Jeter is reputed to be carrying.

That is the most serious post you've ever made.

Beardown was HUGE on Beckham, and Frank thought he was going to be really good but never mentioned Hall of Fame or anything that I could find.

RFDC was also a big fan of Beckham. He and his friend 'agreed that he would be a stud.'

I thought he'd be good. Was good in college. Good in the minors. Good his first year in the majors. Then he fell off a cliff. that's baseball.
