I bet Pat probably just hated the daily grind of radio. I mean, 5 days of this crap must drive you crazy. Watching sports and talking sports becomes your whole life. Much easier to do part time work doing pre game. Plus you have to deal with mentally unstable people at the station IE Bernstein

I could see them teaming Mac & Kap together. Both can drive a show and the days Mac doesn't feel like being top dog, I think he will have no issue giving Kap the keys.

Just saying. This went down quick with no hint of it happening.

Fact: Spiegel told Bernstein that Mannelly wanted to hit him.

Fact: Spiegel, on the Score air, told Bernstein that his Bears reports were complete bullshit.

A week later Mannelly is gone and Feder hints that Spiegel might be gone as well.

Coincidence? I guess it could be. But I don't think so.

LOL, he gets paid either way. He's not on WGN and they are paying him. Little wonder they would release him to go to another job. I'm sure you are one who thinks Mac had a "non compete" clause LOL
Mac has a non employ contract for most stations, his addictions and problems are a non-starter for most.

Mac would get annoyed and/or pissed with drinky's nonsense and stupidity real quick. Maybe a month into it.

I still think if Mac has that call, he's gonna take Finfer over drinky. That was his producer and he actually got some experience as a full time talker for at least 8 months at THE GAME.

Mac isn't gonna suffer drinky's foolishness the way Terry does. He's not gonna laugh at every unfunny, stupid attempt at comedy.
