The answer is YES.

Other folks have seen relatives or friends children harmed and are concerned because of that experience as well.

Uh huh. So since I've known children that have been in car accidents should I never ever drive a child in my vehicle again either? Should I never allow a child to board a plane because there were many children that died in plane crashes last year? You don't let them ride bikes or go on roller coasters? What in the world would you do? Keep your child in a bubble? Because of almost every single imaginable everyday activity, it would carry more risk or permanent health implications than a vaccine would.
