Well he's not saying they're safe and healthy. I think he's been pretty honest about it.

ANY MEDICAL PROCEDURE carries risk. You're not going to find anything that doesn't carry risk. You need to weigh the risk/reward. Now, vaccines are about as safe as a medical procedure can possibly be. And the lifelong benefits greatly outweigh the risk. It's about as open and shut as it can be.

It's almost shocking that this is in debate. But this is the world we live in now.

Here's a question for you, what do you think causes more long term harm, the full compliment of vaccines or the air pollution in the city in which you live?

I honestly don't know. I don't think there is enough research on it. I don't think they know what is harmful and what is not or on what level.

Rick, did you make up those #'s or are they accurate?

If you are giving organs away, then your child is already dead.

If your child will suffer a serious, long term injury from a vaccine, will you be willing to go through with it anyway?

That question is not worth answering. That is not the case that you know a vaccine will cause injury. It's a pointless question. Try harder.

It's not a pointless question. It happens.

It is a pointless question. Because no vaccine is guaranteed to cause problems. So, don't worry about MY head, worry about yours and that stupid strawman you tried to build.
The real question is, "Would you vaccinate your kid knowing that there is a 1 in 10 million risk that it could cause long term injury?"
The answer is YES.

The saddest truth is that you're more likely to suffer long term serious injury on your drive to Whole Foods than from the vaccine. That's just the truth.

It is a good illustration of the difference in risk between the two. For instance, the long term side effects of mmr are so low they don't even know if it has anything to do with the actual vaccine.

Spaulding and Seacrest,
If your kid were to get measles, mumps, or rubella would you take them to the doctor to treat it?

All I'm saying here is that driving your kid to soccer practice is literally more dangerous than getting vaccinated. And you drive them somewhere what almost every damn day? The vaccine is a one time or maybe a couple time risk. You're going to drive them thousands of times.

All I'm saying is this.

If you ever have a child harmed by a vaccine, your views on the subject may be modified.

Other folks have seen relatives or friends children harmed and are concerned because of that experience as well.

Uh huh. So since I've known children that have been in car accidents should I never ever drive a child in my vehicle again either? Should I never allow a child to board a plane because there were many children that died in plane crashes last year? Do you allow your child to be in a motor vehicle or a school bus knowing full well that that is much more likely to hurt them than a vaccine could?

Well, with the reemergence of these eradicated diseases, this should be quickly providing others with another perspective.

It also should be pointed out, and this is not to mock but to simply give context, that Seacrest takes medical advice from a chiropractor that claims that deep breathing exercises can cure cancer.

You can make those choices for your kids when you are blessed with children.

Would that choice include going to a doctor if they got measles, mumps, or rubella?

When you our blessed with kids, you make your choices.

If our son gets M, M or R, we would have to see how bad of a case it is.

Oh. Ok. Because there's no public effect on these choices. Alrighty then.
So, your children never ride in cars, in planes, take cruises or do anything at all that carries a 1 in 10,000,000 chance of injury? They play no sports? They don't have occupations? You don't let them ride bikes or go on roller coasters? You would never let one go to a baseball game, because you could get hit in the head with a line drive foul ball and cause life changing injury?
What in the world would you do? Keep your child in a bubble? Because of almost every single imaginable everyday activity, it would carry more risk or permanent health implications than a vaccine would.

The question, which you still have not answered was very simple.

Will you give your child a vaccine if you knew it would do serious harm?
