Pretty satisfying end to the mid-season finale. We've got the group back together again and
now they likely still head to Washington. Morgan will definitely be trying to catch up to them
now that he has the map.

They said Washington is not the end. I thought they might still be going though.

The episode felt so rushed. There was alot of build-up, but the meetup Rick had with the two cops, and the prisoner exchange all came down in like the last 10 mins. The episode ended with me wanting to see more.

and fuck Beth. Dumb broad.

I'm glad it is back on television. I thought the episode was just kind of meh. I was fine with Tyreese
going away, I wasn't getting much from his character anyway. Pretty sure they will introduce some
new characters soon.

Now that they've added a new black guy (Noah), I pretty much expected this to be the end of Tyrese.

I haven't read the comics. As a TV-only guy I was very disappointed with Tyrese as a character. He looked like such a badass but was such a pansy.

I only read the first like 20 issues but he WAS a bad ass in the comics in those first few. Its weird I expected much different from the character.

I thought they really screwed Tyreese up from the comics so I wasn't too sorry to see him go. But, it was a bit of a shock to me.

There wasn't much you could do with Tyreese though. Daryl fills his role on the TV show so you can't really have another badass best friend of Rick right-hand man. So, I understand why they tried to do something different. It just never worked.

His character ended up being kinda similar to Cutty on The Wire.

But he left that world with his head held high in The Wire, even Avon said he was a man.

In this one, yes he had a bit too much humanity left in him but he left that world a whiney, lying Weiner boy that put the entire group at risk several times because of his failings.

Fair points, although not shooting Fruit on The Wire probably put some people in danger.

Two minutes before Tyrese was bitten, I said to my wife that with the recent additions of Gabriel and Noah, one of the black characters would be killed off soon.
