The Coyotes are putrid and don't deserve much pregame analysis. The numbers speak for themselves. By rights there should be a fire sale coming, but Don Maloney has been known to overvalue his players and demand the world. The Hawks haven't been mentioned in the most recent round of Antoine Vermette talks, which makes me sad. Sounds like it's gonna be New York or Boston for him. Lovely. Maybe Zbynek Michalek could solidify our blue line, I dunno.

He's actually been okay in four of his last five games, but in that fifth game he went 15/20 against Ottawa and didn't make it out of the third period. I hope the Hawks feel up for, you know, killing this guy.

Hawks had a couple shifts where they looked interested but for the most part are just kind of doing the bare minimum. That power play was atrocious.
