Mitch as Darth Vader? No way. Mitch avoids confrontation. He'd be more like a C3PO, wringing his hands in his office while the station is falling apart outside his closed office door all the while mumbling "Oh dear" to himself.

My Source emailed me today around 5 and told me that I should have noticed Dan being 'decent ' to callers. As when they say Hello he responds like a person, not an undersized napoleon complexed asshole. Really haven't consumed more then 1 hour of Danny in the past 2 weeks, the voice is grinding on me these days. If I wanted to listen to a guy turn everything into a trial, I have a slew of lawyers I could call and get the same thing.

You are correct that he would do everything he can to avoid it, but many times he needs to be the guy handling these issues, while an HR guy sits in the room writing everything down as the witness.

True. But it works for the clip I showed. Cuz Mitch is kneeling before Bernstein asking him what to do about Spiegel.

Bernstein doesnt stay around there long enough to give a thought once the show ends and when he gets there, he hides in his cube as those who work theere arent a fan of his either.

Would love to see Terry retire and let Danny do his own show and watch the ratings slide!

Bernstein solo could be great or terrible (and since it has not yet occurred it remains simultaneously both). If it's kind of a Bernstein-and-friends thing where he and other wiseasses just riff on everyone/everything and don't take things seriously, it'd be a lot of fun. If it's going to be Dan Bernstein, Butt-Licking Man About Town, then forget it.

He's become more and more "serious" and seems obsessed with reporting (read: speculating) his bullshit from an implausible number of "sources" in far ranging fields from NASA to advertising and disease outbreak lawsuits.

Without Terry there I can only see it getting worse.

I think we've had enough Dan solo to know exactly what show you'd get. It's a bad listen.
