This is a clear assumption, but I am assuming they were cleared earlier because they provided false addresses somehow, then it was later they found the certain kids didn't really live at those addresses and lived outside the boundaries. I know none of this to be true, but I would think it would be something like that.

He cited how hard it is to get cleared as a reason why cheating isn't happening all over the place. It is more than fair to point out that JRW was cleared multiple times.

Exactly, but if there were adults that knowingly did this, they owe those kids and families big apologies. The kids will still have the memories, which is great. They had the time of their life and I am fairly certain knew nothing of any of this. Just a sad story.

I would like to know the difference the out of district player/s made.
To me this is sour grapes, jealousy and probably racism.
Like i posted on Nas FB post when a person or team of color is successful they are put under a microscope by the man. This clown Chris Janes went through voter registrations, running plates etc..?! I would have a serious problem with that if i were a parent of one of those kids.

I bet you can look at every LL district in the country and probably find at handfuls of teams doing the same thing. Since JRW slaughtered EP and made it to the final and got the attention of the nation then it became a problem.

It is being talked about on Score now that they did falsify docs. That was in the LL statement. So there you have all the info RPB. They cheated and it sucks for the kids on all sides. Now the JRW adults should be happy they do not go to jail based on what they falsified.

I don't feel like those kids should be stripped of anything. Regardless how they won,the fact is they won. All penalties should be going forward to the next season. The Little League is full of coaches that skirt those rules,who are they kidding? I hope it doesn't turn in to a race thing but I'm sure it will and maybe that has some merit in this instance.

The Little League organization comes off really badly here if they have proof they falsified documents.

Ignore the evidence before so you can make money off of them and their story and then once that is done you suddenly decide it is credible.

Actually, that's sort of my only real problem with this whole story ... there should be no champion.

Just flipping it to the next outfit is the kind of shit you do in beauty pageants. I mean, JRW didn't magically un-lose the game, so making them de facto champions is as nauseating in its own right as the apparent cheating. Besides, who's to say Vegas didn't cheat in some form or fashion as well, and for the sake of argument if they did, now their cheating is being inappropriately rewarded, and so on to the next team, etc.

This whole situation is the kind of thing Roger Goodell would point and laugh at for the rampant bumblefuckery and ham-fisted handling of the saga from top to bottom.

I had an additional post before this that did not post that talked about that. Seems to me some combination of the suburban mayors and so on as well as the EP guys tipped off LL. My guess is LL swept it under for a variety of reasons or JRW defended with false docs. Then Vegas guy catches wind of it and says no effing way. He then goes Magnum PI because he is so mad or just a weirdo.
