All of Dan's bitching about propriety and truth makes him sound like Telander. All he needs to do is suspect that Jesse Jackson is a robot.

I don't know how Dan doesn't loose it on Boers when he says "Yes." or "No." to nearly everything Dan says immediately after he says it, even mid-sentence, or repeats the last two of three words of something a fraction of a second after Dan says it.

Boers is like a toadying little weasel who agrees with everything the boss says in a meeting. Even Laurence isn't that pathetic.

Him repeating Dan's words always irritates me. Been doing it for 10 years. Right after Dan says something. He literally repeats it seconds later. You are not exaggerating.

I never get the idea that arguing with some crazy old lady is good radio.

Dan really gets off on telling people he's a better parent than they are.

- The average Score radio listener listens for eighteen minutes. The average Boers & Bernstein fan listens for - are you ready for this? - an hour and twenty minutes.

- How can that be?

- Answer most commonly given? "I want to see what they'll say next."

- Okay, fine. But what about the people who hate them?

- Good point. The average B&B hater listens for two and a half hours a day.

- But... if they hate them, why do they listen?

- Most common answer? "I want to see what he'll say next so I can make an internet post about it."

Lets not say things we cant take back though

Let us not forget the many times that Laurence has changed opinions MID FUCKING SENTENCE at Dan's behest

Dan: What do you got for the show tonight

Laurence: Im gonna talk about how bad the offense has been and why-

Dan: The offense? Its the defense that's the problem

Laurence: The defense IS the problem and we'll be gettting into that too.

Just want to say, I'm a Chicago Police Officer and I work on the South Side. I take offense to Dan's recent anti-police statements.

Sure driving while black exist. But so does driving while white. Seeing a white person where I work is rare and questionable - which turns into driving in the hood while white.

My wife is a nurse at U of C and drives through Englewood to get to work. She gets pulled over at least once a month, most of the time the officers say to her, "are you lost?" It could be driving while white or driving while cute and blonde and let's pull her over.

Look I would love to bid to the district where I live and drive circles around my block. Unfortunately, I don't have the time on the job to do that. I can't help where I police is 95% black.

If you called in and told this to Dan he'd say, "Great, you're a racist cop, aren't you? Don't hide under any of that stuff. Just say you hate black people."

McDude: What? No, I'm simply saying you're gonna pull over black people in black neighborhoods.

Bernstein: Oh boy, Terry, he's a racist. I just hope Goff and Holmes don't run into this guy. What kind of world do we live in? What is this, 1956? (Click)

Terry: Yep.

McDude: Hello? Hello?

:viking: maybe it's a small team. I see posts here about JRW and Dan's parenting and am figuring it's a good day to skip. Real Serious Radio, then real reporting guys, and for a while now this show just hasn't been good.

(I'll acknowledge there's no real - live - alternative)

Thanks guys. I know there are people on here that have issues with police.

But to hear Bernstine talk about "black issues" and then rant off only law enforcement related issues (driving while black, incarceration rate, police brutality) is a little simple minded to me. I don't even think he would have that narrative if it wasn't for Ferguson and New York last year. And we all know Danny's true problem with Ferguson was police "targeting the media" and "denying freedom of press."

Bernstine loves attacking the police for being racist but denies his own racism. People like Bernstine are the main people I take issue - white people telling black people how to feel. Even though they're never around black people.

I'm not going to take the time to go through ALL of Dan's comments on parenting..via tweet or on air..though he is far from father of the year. Dan is more worried about being a "buddy" to his kid rather than a father. Perception is his priority not the reality....why else would he tweet what he does? MAKING UP STUFF said or done for the sake of the story or narrative.

Then later on that evening McDude calls Terry.

McDude: Dad, that was me calling today defending the cops. You got so caught up in parroting Bernstein that you called your own son a racist.

Boers:  Eeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

By the way, where is Terry's son a cop? South suburbs I assume, right? Mokena or a neighboring suburb?

I lived on the North Side for most of the past decade. Of the hundreds of traffic stops I witnessed in the city (particularly in Rogers Park, Andersonville, Albany Park and Lincoln Square), I only saw one white person get pulled over.

the nice thing about Oak Park is that the cops are afraid to profile so they just don't pull anyone over. ever.

A lot of people on this board get off on telling other people that they're better parents than them.

Even if they aren't parents themselves.

Yeah, but he listened to rap in the late '80s so he can relate.

Okay, you spaz, you've been white-knighting that stupid pig guy here for months now. I've had it with you and your fucking Rick Telander one-sentence paragraphs trying to start shit with everyone on this board. Yeah, I thought it was a bad idea for him to put his teenage son in football because football is really dangerous. I didn't call him a bad parent. I didn't say I was a good parent. I said that that was irresponsible and very ill-informed. I hope you're schlepping up to Mequon or wherever the fuck to bring him some sympathy casseroles because apparently I hurt him very very much and he needs some help recovering from this one.

Guarantee you if Bernstein saw a black guy driving a car in his neighborhood, he'd call the cops. I'm sure he's done it already.
