I got suspicious when all the "surveys" required before downloading the software were installation links. Some people have had malware installed on their computer from this site, and no one has received the installation. According to Mac experts, such an app doesn't exist.

It appears to be affiliated with Cleanfiles.net, and pay-per-download site with a sketchy reputation. I'd steer clear of both sites.

Thanks. I didn't think it was legit. Somebody told me they found this download but were scared to do it.

the problem with skype or google hangouts is the people who use facetime have no idea how to use skype or hangouts.

in contrast though, the people who use skype or hangouts have no trouble loading up facetime and using it even if they have never used it before... the only problem is these type of people normally dont have a playskool device.

so i too would love facetime on windows. sick of the calls i get. "oh, can you facetime?" and i reply "no, but we can use skype or hangouts" and they reply "sorry i dont have that" and i reply "you can download the skype app, it works on idevices" and they reply "sorry, i have no idea how to do that. well just talk on the phone"
