Hawks v. Pengs meng.

Hossa has scored a metric fuckton of goals, 7 in 4 games which is more than Sharp has scored since November I think. We hope he's injured because he's been awful but we hope hes not injured because for some reason Q put him shooting third in the last shootout.

Some french fuck is the goalie for the Pengs and he's a fuck and naturally the rest of this team is fucks so fuck.

Oh and 11:30 Sunday games on NBC? Fuck you and Fuck Doc that that big bald fuck that fucks about behind the fucking glass.

And more Rozsival fuckery has allowed a 2 on 1, pretty much a two man breakaway. Thankfully Crawford picked him up but jesus I've seen about enough of that guy.

Would Leddy be a nice option in place of Rosi?

I'd take a construction barrel in place of Rosi.

Dont get me started on Leddy. We should have kept him and developed him.

Well instead they spent more than twice what they should have on Bickell.

Yes I know. I was against signing Bickell from day 1. $4 million per year for him is a bad ROI.

Is CH alive? I figured he'd be lathered up for the early puck drop. He must be busy with work. I am hitting the bottle early and rapping with the Coc folks.

This might be a classic case of holding on to a guy (Sharp) , a year too long instead of dumping him a year too early.

Hmmm another goal directly as a result from Toews winning a face off.

Two goals in 21 games. Hawks have been bad at the dot today.

How many goals you think he prevents winning defensive zone draws? Think it's a coincidence he leads the forwards in +-? Or is he just lucky his team seems to score far more often when he's on the ice against the other teams best players?

I think he is a great player, respondible defensively and one of the best on draws. He cannot be considered the best in NHL with his lack of scoring. He was 30th in points last I checked and very weak at goal scoring.

That's the thing though. He's still one of the most effective players in the league despite having a down scoring year. You want Tyler Seguin instead? he has 29 goals.

He is 50th in goals at 16. If that's the best player in the league, then I quit commenting on sports. Aside from CH, everyone here keeps telling me he is the best.

Or Ovechkin who doesn't even hide the fact he plays zero defense?

The Hawks in general are having problems scoring this year.
I'm not saying Toews is the best player in the league. He's pretty fucking good at things that don't always show up on the score sheet. That being said, this is not a good year for him.

It's time to remove Sharp from the power play.

Who here claims that 19 is the best player in the NHL? I dont hear or see people saying that.

For the record, Sharp's -9 for the season puts him at 732 of 822 rated players.

And again, his lowest shooting % of his career.

I don't think I've ever seen a two-minute penalty taken back. I've seen plenty of cases where they've called it and then realized they called it on the wrong guy, but I've never seen the refs rescind a penalty altogether. Oh well, that's what happens with Crosby, I guess.

Evenly matched game so far, maybe a slight edge to Pittsburgh. This is why you need to win your Phoenix/Vancouver games, so that you don't have to stare down Crosby and Malkin in a must-win game.

Another awful goal for Crawford to give up. We need a Hossa goal pretty soon.

No one ever said he was the best offensive player in the game. You know this. You are exaggerating.

He is however one of the best 2 way players in the game, if not the best, which as has been pointed out to you several times does not show up on stat sheets, specifically # of goals.

Can't pay over ten million for intangibles while the Canadian dollar is plummeting.

Scorehead, apparently GM's do. You see the folks here backtracking already. They're learning. Look at early season game threads for the argument.

It's obvious Toews is not the impact player many claim. Kane has been much more noticeable this season.

Saw Sharp taking the 3rd shootout shot and was like WHY IS HE OUT THERE AND NOT HOSSA!
Well, he won it so I guess I fucked that up but damn.
