I sampled this Pete McMurray twice since this Mac announcement. First time he was emceeing some listener's bachelor party and the dude was getting married the following morning on some other guy's show (with Pete performing the ceremony). And then last night when he was interviewing Finesse Mitchell about the SNL show. I actually thought he was Bill Leff at first. Dude sounds like a little bitch. Lame jokes and whiny observations about his dietary choices. Seems to have the type of personality that would annoy the shit out of Mac.

Scott Miller, who produced McMurray's show on WGN, is going to be the producer of this show.

Normally I would say I dont like where this is going, but I know Macs style. he needs to do some corruption I think.

McMurray might be too clean cut and could cringe at 'Pulling the goalie" talk.

McMurray isn't what I would call "edgy". There's a reason he lasted at WGN for so long.

So he turned down 400k from the Score according to Sherman. How much is the drive paying him? I wouldn't think they have the budget to go more than 150k. They don't have the money THE SCORE has.
