Colorado at Chicago tonight.
Varlamov busted out something like 54 saves last time the Hawks played the Avs. They can't get past this guy. And Patrick Waah is sure to play him because why give the guy a day off anyway. He doesn't need rest. Especially against the Hawks, who are expert marksman when it comes to shooting at goalie logos.
Colorado is just 4 6 and 0 in the last 10 and recent declared all they need is 2 points in each remaining game. No big deal there.
Hossa is fine. Just needed a day off . Sharp still skating on the 4th line. Oduya still very, very confused. Hartman has a dreaded lower body injury, which could mean anything from a sprained toe to double amputation.

All in all this won't be a high scoring game. If the Hawks pot two you gotta feel like this is a win regardless of the final score.

And for Curious...

Toews blows.

I'll be in section 230 tonight compliments of a late wedding present from a hockey buddy. Looking forward to it. Last game I went to was in a low level sky box so I'll have to lower my expectations since I'll be slumming it at club level.

I like the club level and 300. Don't care for boxes or 100 level.

300 level is for peasants and drunks who want to hang out at the top of the stairs bar and yell SHOOT every so often.

200 and 100 level are places to actually see the game. Low level sky box have amazing seats/view. I'll watch it on my couch before going up to the 300 level. First row in the 300 level isn't terrible I guess.

No. I think it's where you find actual fans and people who want to watch the game. Lots of families up there. 100 level is comes in late, leaves early, and spends half the time looking at their cell phones.

that's a BS stereotype thrown out there by poor people trying to justify their shitty seats.

This is a Hawks game, not a Bulls game. If you've got season tix to the Hawks you're a diehard fan, no matter what section you are in.

And there are far more people in the 300 level not paying attention to the game than people doing that down low. If not, please explain why the concourse on the 300 level is packed during gameplay whereas its a ghost town at the 100 and 200 level.

And yet, I'm the first to post during the actual game

The Hawks are again reluctant to actually, you know, shoot the puck, even when they have been camping in the Avs end.

Oh look - a turnover and GA

They just can't score on this guy. I don't get it.

Well, they would have a better chance to if they actually, you know, SHOT THE PUCK. Kaner and Toews both passed up a shot in order to make that one last fancy pass.

Again let's go rinkwide on 3-on-2 and get the pass broken up instead of driving to the net

Nine SOG after living in the Avs zone the first eight minutes. Nine. It's a wonder that they got that many.

Lollygaggers.

Yes.

This power play is still pissing me off. No one drives in the slot, no one is getting looks, they're just skating and passing around the perimeter and doing noting.

They've been doing that for about 4 years.

Oduya and Rozsival on the ice at the same time there, might be the slowest fucking pair I've ever seen blue lining. Mercy. Oduya got beat by a guy on about a 50 second shift to cancel out an icing.

Oduya is on my shit list now. SHOW SOME FUCKING HUSTLE.

I don't EVER want to see Rozsival carrying the puck into the offensive zone and across the red line... I mean he might never get back to the defensive zone.

I'm turning into Curious! FUCK

Nice to see Kruger lay a sweet check on Sharp as he crosses the blue line.

Sharp, Kruger, Hartman.

Yeah. That's gonna get Sharp out of a slump.

Brutal.

"Dear Blackhawks,
My friend, Spaulding, has one goal. To rub her boobs on Patrick Sharp. Again. She had a couple diet pepsi on the way, see, and she was off balance and... well the point is that her boobs... well there is no point to this.

I'm sorry.
