Well they sure can't shoot when Seabrook can't keep the fucking puck onside.

Might be time to sit Crawford for a bit.
That was ridiculous.

I was watching Bill Maher. Doesn't appear that I missed much. This team loses a lot of games.

Blues beat Boston, though.

To be fair, Bill Maher has lost a lot as well.

Q should have yanked him right there. Cro with just an awful 3rd period. He is what he is and he has reached his ceiling.

It was one of those 20-ft high chip ins from center ics, bounces about 20 times, never settles down.....and instead of smothering it, the goalie tries to play it. And it bounces in. Because the goalie is a moron.

Really?
You honestly think that winning the Stanley Cup is the ceiling for an NHL goalie?

To wit, as frustrating as last year's team was, they still only finished with 21 regulation losses. Tonight will be the 19th already. This is the final year of our window and this is what they mustered up. Are they going to break 100 points this year?

The schedule serves them up a nice eight-game homestand mostly against Eastern teams or non-contenders. Through six games, they've only managed to win two, and only one in regulation. Seriously, what a bunch of assholes.

How would you like me to feel about eight games at home against teams you should beat. Tell you what, I'll keep doing my bit and you keep doing yours about your hordes of imaginary people who hate Les Grobstein and want him fired.

Their season has been over since New Year's, as is the custom in the last three seasons that have started in October. I know we laugh at the Blues for choking and think the Hawks will flip the switch every spring, but based on the games that have actually happened in real life, Vladimir Tarasenko will cut this team to ribbons.

I just wanted to know if you thought that winning the Cup was the ceiling for an NHL goalie or if there was something higher that he could achieve?

Do you remember saying this a bazillion times last year?
Then they coulda/shoulda been in the Cup final? I'm not saying they'll get that far this year (I have more concerns about this team than last year's), but at some point you understand the "crying wolf" aspect to your posts about the Hawks, right?
I mean, you have to realize how it falls on deaf ears after a couple years?

Crawfords head hasn't been in many games. You really can't blame him on the 2 man ppg but the goal 20 seconds later was suspect. Then I don't know what you call that last one. That was just shit.

Part of why he looks bad is very poor defensemanship. The Hawks basically have 2.5 defenseman. Seabrook, Oduya and Rozsival have been pretty awful.

The offense isn't picking them up. Sharp is just terrible. I don't need to get into Richards and shaw and bickell.

Doesn't feel good this year.

He's a product of the Hawks defense, which isn't a knock on him, it's just mind-boggling why they paid him so much when they publicly said they were against paying big money to goalies (ie. Niemi)

Yes, because they packed it in after New Year's. They had a good run in the playoffs (aided by the Blues being banged up and getting the Wild instead of the Avs), but the second half of the regular season was brutal. And yet last year is shaping up to look better than this year.

Eh, Seabrook has been good enough most of the year, IMO. Those other two guys.............

Can you get into Saad and maybe Smith and Versteeg? Because they need to get good.

And then take another turn on Sharp. Some may remember that I have long said he is the "Core" guy that could go if you can get the right deal for him. He's a one trick pony, and when that trick is not working, well then.........well, he's just a pony I guess. I'm not real fond of ponies.
