that seems like a fair number to me. A few breaks go their way and a Wild Card race could include either/both teams

White Sox are better than the Cubs. I think they will win the division.

I think you would have to sweat both of those plays out in September if you took the overs.

The Cubs will not win more than 78 games.

I expect the Cubs to take a step back this year in developing young players.

As a Sox fan, you hope they take a step back you mean.....No, with Bryant the likely ROY in NL and Addison Russell likely to be up before the year ends, the pipeline will be pumping out a couple outstanding cornerstones to a Cubs Championship squad. Almora is a guy I hope will take big strides towards a spot in CF in early 2017. C.J. Edwards needs to stay healthy, but if he does, he should be a part of the 2016 edition. Lots of good young talent on the way!

Young players are a great bet to fail! Or play poorly at best!

GD and others love to mock the Cubs system, meanwhile Matt davidson, Trayce Thompson and Courtney Hawkins will give me a great 12 inch team one day! They can complimnet Vitters, Jacksn and SCISSORS!

Telling me young players wont live up to the hype is about as risky as saying , 'i dont think the Sox will draw well this year"

To say the Cubs top 6 prospects will be all star level performers, thats a reach and a risky statement. Just using it as an example, not claiming it.

I have never ONCE said they will be HOF, I have always said they same thing I said above.

I dont see these kids play, no reason to make any call on how good they can/will be.

Before last season, almost every expert gave Baez the great MLB career and the guy who wont make it was Soler. Now seeing them both for 30 days playing everyday. Not sure how EVERYONE missed on Soler. Soler was going to be the one guy of the top 6 or 7 that wasnt going to work out....? It's why Theo picks them and reporters report them. Every reporter LOVED Baez!

Could Bryant and Soler and others be HOF one day? Maybe....I didnt and wont make that call, thats foolish.

But I wont get upset or mad at a computer projected number....that entertains me

pittmike that is your fall back statement for everything.

The fact remains no one here has said anything about the Cubs prospects being hall of fame.

We keep going over this with you and yet you continue to go to your fall back statement.

you should've heard the Randazzler yesterday morning with Bruce. Never heard such a slobber fest in my life. "already carries himself like a superstar, blah, blah blah."

Bullshit. You guys have all stepped it back lately and said "well of course they all can't make it" but on the draft days I seem to remember a whole lot of this is the greatest plan of all time shit talking. I will be happy to see Cubs win with Bryant and some of these guys but save the 90's Braves shit until they are all up a year.

Would you like to wager the Cubs have a better record than the Sox over of the next 3 years?

Don't give me the quote thing. I am going on the collective "we are going to be the 90's Braves with 7 hall of famers". You know that is the prevailing thought on media and so forth so just stop. The media and population is desirous of an almighty Cubs dynasty.

That's some solid analysis and logical reasoning. I can see why someone would take your opinion seriously.

I answered you in that thread. Too many injury factors over that period for either of us. Which is also why I get on the Cub Fan's faith. Always a tommy john or a acl or just a bust out tuffy rhodes to skip you up.

see now that is bullshit. You dont want the quote thing because you know you cannot find any.

The collective thing is BS as well. One person said something about the 90s braves and you jump all over it and make it like every Cub fan here says crap like that.

One I am not spending time searching this board for anything. Secondly, my perspective is made by things including outside this board like local media etc and Bernsie.

So it is fair for you to hold all of the Cub fans here accountable for stuff you hear in the media?

Yes. As you hold me as part of the subdivision or any other Sox subculture you choose.
