6 part true story on a NYC man ( Durst ) who came from a privileged family and is picked up in Galveston, TX
after a man's dismembered body washes up on shore and the clues eventually point to him.
Turns out years before his wife mysteriously disappeared and was never found. There is
going to be a lot more that comes out on this guy, there has to with 5 episodes to go but he
is one really strange guy who thinks he is above the law and apparently came from some strange
circumstances as a youth that may have helped shape who he became. The first episode was
only about 40 minutes long. I found it interesting and it's probably going to end up being like
one of those 20/20 stories on Friday night except probably a bit more interesting since it doesn't
have to be wrapped up in an hour.

I've seen this guy on a Dateline or 48 Hours. There is no doubt he killed his wife.

I'll be interested to hear more about the case. It doesn't appear he has done any time for anything than once
shoplifting a sandwich when he was on the run after jumping bail for the Galveston crime.

I've been recording these, and will probably get to them sometime in the future. Too many shows going on right now for me.

My favorite part was when they were discussing that his brother Douglas feared Robert and had hired a bodyguard. In an interview, Robert Durst was asked why he thought his brother had done so. His response: "because he's a pussy!"

Ha ha ha!

It is a slow developing story, but this is real creepy stuff. When he calls the director of the film and the lies the guy lives on , has a very "Silence of the Lambs " feel

This is kinda how I felt about it. Just some really strange behavior. He goes into a store when he is on the run from
the cops with a pocket full of cash and over $37,000 in his car and gets pinched for stealing a hoagie sandwich. His
second wife seems really bizarre as well. I hope we find out a bit more about her.

2nd wife knew exactly what she was doing. Married a nut who has endless cash. The guy goes to do what he wants to do and she does what she wants to do. Her job is to answer the phone when he calls her with issues and she keeps the money.

Yeah that is what it seemed. She didn't even ask questions when he said he needed $250k to get out of jail.
Totally more concerned about her access to the money on the phone tapes and trying to control the situation.
Cops asked her about prison phone conversations and she basically told the cop to stop asking her and to
listen to the tape she was sure he had access to. Pretty cool customer.

Only concern in life is the brother declaring him not capable of making choices, brother gets control and she loses access to cash. Other than that, play on, she doesnt have a care n life.

Caught the second episode last night. Essentially discussed his messed up childhood and started building the relationship between Robert and his wife.
Not quite as compelling as the first episode but there is still a lot of story to tell here. He is one creepy dude that is for sure.

 I was totally trying to watch him to see if he did something to tip off that he was lying but he has a facial tic during each statement. I'll have to start developing one
to help cover my lies.

Agree, doesnt take a Psych major to figure this one out, but even thought you could probably kill the guy with your bare hands, you dont want to be in a room alone with him,

Probably planned for a couple of filler eps out of the 6. Best part is Durst being interviewed. Just start asking him questions about random shit "how do you like the yankees chances this year?", "what's your favorite movie?" "what kind of porn do you fap to?" "think you'll kill anyone else before you die?" or whatever. See what kind of crazy comes out of him.

What's up with Durst having Krycek from X-Files black oil eyes:

I have found the last two interesting but a couple notches down from the first couple. I found this last episode that breaks down the
court case fascinating and discussing how the defense got the jury to see the case their way.

Wall Street Week/Louis Rukeyser reference. Awesome.

Only one episode left. This last one was kind of interesting. I wasn't expecting the guy to find a letter in his mother's things. That was quite the
bombshell there at the end.

When they were getting hassled by security outside of the building where the Durst family business is, I wanted Robert to say, "You know I've killed people, right? Get the hell away from me."

That letter is a game changer. "Beverley" indeed.
