IIRC he's recently had one really good year back when he was a dolphin heading into free agency. he was out there more often than not and he put up #s worthy of a !!! deal in detroit. what i remember of his time in detroit is an eclectic combination of being hurt and/or eventually being supplanted by joique bell as "the guy" in detroit's running game once he got over his concussion issues.

i dont think you can count on this guy for anything between the tackles, and i dont think you can trust him to be on the field any more than ~10 games a year. if you can get him for cheap and have him there as a plan B to forte that you insert on 3rd/WTF??? downs and can utilize him in the passing game or whatnot fashioning yourself a woulda-coulda-shoulda sproles-lite type of guy while you're developing a project at RB, sure. but if he's come here thinking he was going to walk in and compete for the job and/or maybe have it handed to him if/when forte (finally) gets really old really quick which would be prudent to assume is coming up in the next year or two, well shit.... just make sure you have a project/future guy there when bush has his inevitable knocks and especially if (god forbid) forte should catch a moderate-to-serious injury. you just don't want to count on reggie bush cuz he's about good enough (mostly in theory) to get you killed when you need him the most.

and we don't exactly have drew brees to bail us out back there one way or another if the running game is what the spanglish call el fuckedo.

I am OK with John Fox being involved in drafting RB's. They seemed to have drafted more good RBs last year than we have doen in the last 10

I think you can wait a year before drafting 1. Maybe 2 years.
