Have any suggestions of what to do? or just keep giving iraq free weapons, then ISIS knows they have the weapons, ISIS then attacks the city and take the weapons we just provided as has now happened twice in Iraq. Yet, we are going to do it a 3rd time?

As I said before, you can defeat an idea. Been done before. Several times. Also, the idea that a war against a non nation entity can not be won is also a fallacy as it has been done before.

One of the reasons why the West finds it perplexing why so many seemingly intelligent and well to do Muslims are buying into the ISIS view is fairly easy if all you do is a little research. If you just sit down and read the Koran and the other books that form the core of Islam you will see that all ISIS is doing is attempting to set up the Caliphate as put forth by Mohammed. So all these people are doing is following the faith that they believe in. It is a strict interpretation of the book is all. All religions have branches of this type, the problem with Islam is that it has always been a very strict and literal religion. Anytime it seems to be on the verge of a reformation and moving forward something like this comes along.
No if you want to look at why the current crop of whack job Islamic fundamentalist s got to be as strong as they are now you only have to look at the current administration. After the surge they where on the ropes and out of gas. Then the pull out of both Iraq and Afghanistan began. Add to that the reluctance to use ground assets and rely instead on air, both manned and unmanned, to conduct operations. They where given the breathing room they needed to regroup and reorganize. ISIS now has a major presence in 11 countries across the globe due to our Presidents refusal to acknowledge them for what they are, religious fundamentalist terrorists.
He has no problem scolding Christians for the Crusades and Slavery. He keeps on bring those up it seems every other speech. He calls America out on every mistake we have ever made, yet he refuses to call Islam out on its faults. Why? Why the reluctance to shine the light on the source of our enemies resources? Europe is starting to wake up to the vipers they have welcomed into there homes. Greece is starting to deport the illegals that flooded them in the past decade from the Middle East,Maybe France and Norway should as well. You say I want Muslims dead, not really. If they can come to some way to fix their religion where it does not call for either the forceful conversion or slavery of those who do not convert or even the death of the non converts then I don't care about them. Until they do then I look upon them as I do Satanists or Nazis, vile diseased predators who wish to do the world ham that need to be stamped out.

We should respect their IDEAS and let them grow, because remember, 100's of years ago, some of our forefathers had bad ideas as well....

It's a complicated situation but I believe we need to re-think our whole military gameplan. An expansion of specialized forces trained specifically for terrorist and guerrilla warfare. A focus on technology and equipment which are developed specifically for this type of "war". Boots on the ground (using the above) in a quick hit and fully supported manner. Stop spending money on dated or irrelevant weapons systems just because they are produced in some Senator's state. Fund upgrades in surveillance (both people & technology) & streamline communications channels so that important information is relayed to key personnel on federal and local levels where appropriate. There's obviously much more that goes into such a fluid and inherently complex situation but doing things the same way (as others have noted) is not an effective long term strategy.

I will agree with you. Smaller, better, specialized groups and I am pretty sure they know it.

But the "BOOTS ON THE GROUND" is what OBama wont do, because he said he wouldnt. But instead, they do everything else.

Americans just didn't appreciate the brilliance of these guys:

Mr. Juraboev worked at a Gyro King, earning about $2,000 a month.
Mr. Saidakhmetov, who had bounced between jobs, most recently was working at a mall kiosk repairing cellphones, earning about $1,500 a month.
Mr. Saidakhmetov was employed by the third defendant, Mr. Habibov, whom he had worked for in the past at mall kiosks

DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) -- A prominent Bangladeshi-American blogger known for speaking out against religious extremism was hacked to death as he walked through Bangladesh's capital with his wife, police said Friday.
The attack Thursday night on Avijit Roy, a Bangladesh-born U.S. citizen, occurred on a crowded sidewalk as he and his wife, Rafida Ahmed, were returning from a book fair at Dhaka University. Ahmed, who is also a blogger, was seriously injured. It was the latest in a series of attacks on secular writers in Bangladesh in recent years.

Quote:
As ISIS continues to increase its deadly and destructive influence across the Middle East, it becomes increasingly clear that there is no act too atrocious for the terrorist organization, and its latest disgusting salvo proves just that. Earlier this morning, members of the Islamic State released a two-star review of Neutral Milk Hotel’s sophomore album, In The Aeroplane Over The Sea.

According to reports, the devastating 500-word review, which appeared online at 7:45 a.m., attacks nearly every aspect of the 1998 indie album, again showing that ISIS is capable of anything.

Here is a particularly brutal excerpt from the lengthy review:

Quote:
While showing some glimmers of promise throughout, Aeroplane ultimately fails to deliver. Showy and about 15 minutes too long, it’s hard to see how NMH came to be the twee-pop band of choice for an entire generation of uninspired scenesters. It’s boring. Definitely not worth the $9.99 for a download. Definitely not worth the 40 minutes of listening time.

Sure, there are some okay tracks. The horn riff intro to “The King of Carrot Flowers Pts. Two & Three” is catchy enough. The production and arrangements are okay. But the fact remains that in the end, this album simply does not live up to all the hype. To everyone who heralds it as a lo-fi pop landmark: It. Just. Isn’t. That. Good.

Atrocious.

In the hours since the review’s release, the CIA has issued the following statement:

“The Central Intelligence Agency strongly condemns the despicable cruelties committed by the Islamic State. These terrorists continue to prove that their ruthlessness knows no bounds, and we will do everything in our power to put their barbaric behavior to an end.”

We can only hope that someone will soon put a stop to ISIS for good. Until then, only time will tell how far the terrorist group is willing to go.
