The worst part of it all was that the bulk of the issue was a British subsidiary that made the bad investments. I was on the insurance side and my division was making money hand over fist.

American executives let those lymie bastards get away with murder and got the gubmint to bail their asses out. The CEO got a fat severance, the British still got their bonuses, and we as the employees wondered if we would have jobs, or be sold, or whatever. Then we got to keep our jobs with pay freezes in place, even though we were still killing on profits. Then I had the pleasure of riding out the bullshit for another 4 years until I got laid off because they were cutting supervisors and I made too much money.

Fuck AIG. I hope the next time they fuck up (and you know they will), it kills them.

To top it off, having them on my resume made me spend my first 6 months of interviewing have to relive all of that crap because everyone wanted to know what it was like.

I hope Benmosche is rotting in hell with the rest of his cocksucking executive cronies.
