If it's true, that doesn't paint Duncan Keith's wife in a particularly flattering light.

I've heard that he and his wife go way back to Back Home, and she knows how it goes with him and happily collects the checks. I believe Toews and Crawford are both dating bottle girls they picked up on Hubbard Street.

But why bother getting married from his pov?

Well, I'm guessing they were in love once. Maybe they still are but he also enjoys getting everything he can. It's hard to blame him.

yeah that is one of the things that has never made sense to me. Same thing with Tiger Woods. Why get married? Just enjoy the ride.

I started a thread awhile back on the having sex with teammates wifes/girls. That seems to me to be particularly low. If you can pretty much get any girl you want, stay away from teammates girls.

From the Sun-Times posted a couple hours ago...

Sports
Agent: Blackhawks have 'no intentions of trading Patrick Sharp'
Posted: 02/28/2015, 05:04pm | Mark Lazerus

Patrick Sharp has 10 goals, 22 assists and a minus-13 rating in 49 games this season. (Getty Images)
With Monday’s trade deadline looming, and Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman actively seeking at least one more trade after acquiring defenseman Kimmo Timonen on Friday night, speculation has been rampant about who the Hawks might get, and who they might give up.

According to his agent, Rick Curran, it won’t be Patrick Sharp.

Curran said he spoke with Bowman this week.

“He’s got no intentions of trading Patrick Sharp,” Curran said.

Two sources told the Sun-Times that Sharp was indeed in play, and that the Washington Capitals and Detroit Red Wings have shown at least some interest. Over the years, several teams have inquired about Sharp’s availability, and a source said last spring that the Hawks were shopping him around. Curran said at that time that Bowman had given him a similar assurance, and in the end Sharp wasn’t moved.

Curran didn’t want to speculate beyond this season. The Hawks will be facing a cap crunch, and Sharp — with two years left on his contract and an average annual value of $5.9 million — will be a prime candidate to be moved.

“Stan Bowman doesn’t ever want to trade Patrick Sharp,” Curran said. “Having said that, what happens over the summer is something all clubs have to go through, with respect to the cap.”

Sharp has a modified no-trade clause, which means that if the Hawks notified him that they wanted to trade him, he’d have 24 hours to submit a list of 10 teams that he’d be willing to go to.

Keith's wife is pretty hot. I don't know too many relatively new moms looking to fuck other dudes however. Have a hard time believing that one.

That's what I don't get. It's Patrick Sharp. He's gonna bang the equipment guys wife? She has 4 kids? Not that she can't be hot, but why?

Just from his perspective, he can look up at the crowd and get a better one any time he wants.

The hockey whores are there every game.

Or any Blackhawk wife? Why does Sharp need to do that?

He doesn't strike me as a dumb ass. Just bang the Chicago girls that attend the game. Or pick them up at bars. Why make things complicated?

I'm pretty sure he's good looking enough that he could pull premium unmarried poon even if he were a busboy at Chili's instead of a millionaire hockey player.

Right. But the way Bernstein describes it, he's banging every wife on the Hawks. From the janitors wife to the owners wife.

It doesn't make sense.

He might need the challenge of the unattainable poon.
If you can get any poon where's the fun in that.
Getting off limit poon... challenge!

JoeO was getting some grief for criticizing SportsMockery reporting on Sharp under a fake name.

@JoeO670: Stop with the tweets about my “co-workers.” Unless I missed it, nobody at The Score REPORTED on Sharp’s sex life. We go by our names too.

So Joe was criticizing a website for reporting the Sharp rumors? Then defending Bernstein when people point out he's done the same?

That's what working at the Score does to you. Brainwashed zombies.

I guess he missed it.

But Joe put REPORTED in all caps. Meaning he thinks the way Bernstein did it is fine since he danced and hinted about it. Oh yeah, and everybody knows Bernstein's name. That makes it better.

A source is someone with real knowledge who you, as a reporter, trust explicitly and who is willing to share information with you. Once that guy lies to you to promote an agenda, he is no longer a source. Or he shouldn't be. On occasion he may tell you something and ask that you not repeat it. You have to weigh the consequences of that. A good rule of thumb would be to have an understanding with your source that he or she should not tell you anything they wouldn't want you to use. If you can't use it, it's just gossip. That's great if you want to do the B&B thing where you say, "We know something you don't know." But you don't actually get credit for knowing it when someone else breaks the story.

That's pretty naive. "Sources" have agendas all the time. What reporters need to do is figure out what. That whole "two source" thing, it has a not more to do with understanding the context of a leak than the veracity.

A source may well have an agenda, but you probably shouldn't be putting too much stock in such a source. If you do, you're a flack, not a reporter.
