 Buncha savages in this town...

They have $5 or $7 upper deck seats, and $15-20 lower level seats for about 75 of their home games. So its still a pretty good deal. I think they should offer a $10 Standing Room ticket for all games for people who want to hang out on the concourse in the outfield to watch the game.

They can't do that, otherwise they might as well allow the creatures from the UD to roam the concourse as well.

Allowing upper deck people to go to the concourse would cause a significant rise in ticket buying, imo

Given the game. When they have 30K plus (I know, bigfan, that is only a few times a year), can't really do that. On a Thursday afternoon game when its April and its 45 degrees outside, let the 10-15K people in the park sit pretty much anywhere except STH sections.

Didn't it used to be that way?

It doesnt have to be an official thing. Just look the other way. Enforce it if its a crowded game

You got me.

I should have White Sox season tickets living 800 miles away from the stadium.

Guy who sits in my section at Wrigley lives in Boston another guy lives in LA...they make it to maybe two or three homestands a season.

That sounds pretty dumb.

NFL fans never, ever buy season tickets and unload most of them. Never.
That never happens with popular teams and sports.

Have had my Bears tickets since 1971... and I hardly ever miss a game or unload them.

You agreed with Frank that the idea was dumb.

Time to change your argument or make personal insults, if I know BR.

You shouldn't say this when you seem to be already changing the argument.

I just wanted you to actually explain your point so I could know for certain.

Cubs tickets have been pretty easy to come by in recent years, so the availability of Sox tickets was not as big a deal. That will change i think.

I do love being able to plan to go to the Sox game at the last minute
You could do this for most Cubs games too, but have to pay a lot more via a broker or StubHub.

There is something to be said for being able to walk up to a ticket office at 6:55, and pay $5 to see an MLB game.

You could get Cubs games on stubhub the last few years for about $3.

Maybe they will shut down the city for his funeral, or move his statue to Daley Plaza.
