I became a fan of the Score because of the B&B show and whatever show Murph was on.

It's sad to see what a shitshow my favorite radio station has become. The only show I tune into now is Mully and Hanley for goodness sakes.

I guess it's interesting to me that the B&B posts outnumber all other radio discussion, 5 to 1? More than that? The only thing that can compete is some Mac relapse rumor, but that stays confined within one 15 page thread. The vast majority of which just seem based from pure misery.

I don't have what RPB describes as easy to get. This isn't political discourse where it's good to hear from varying opinions, it's pure hate listen.

No it isn't. There was a time when B&B talk outpaced everything else 5 to 1, but it was about how much we liked the show. In that time, I think the show has changed more than the board's membership has. I can't believe we're rehashing this. Like, haven't we plotted out the decline of the show and where various posters here found themselves turning against it?

Im not trying to get on you, Dan, but Im not sure why this is so hard to understand. I mean, its not something I do (hate listen) but I totally get why others do. Its not a hard concept.

B and B show threads used to be in the double digits page wise. Now they are what, 2 or 3 pages on an average? Maybe 8 on a good day?

I think people like to listen and point out the ridiculousness of Bernstein, schtick or not. If someone calls and tries, I'm sure they would not get through or would get shouted down.

It's still the best show in Chicago and everyone secretly knows it.

It's not as good as it was but that seems to be how pretty much anything older than 5 years is viewed these days.

Seriously, I totally agree. When I am not listening to the Economist in my car, I have 101.1 on. The mix of music is solid. My kids think I am crazy because they love that pop garbage on 101.9. But you know my musical skills are sorely lacking.
