Wasn't it that Emery's fate was not definite but Trestman's fate was?

Also, the meeting that had security guards blocking the entrance that apparently never happened was part of Dan's timeline of events. Nothing was decided there, but that was when a voice started getting louder. Why did Dan's guy lie to him about that? It just seems that Dan took a calculated risk and it paid off.

It was posted here, with a source, two months before it happened.

And there are numerous people claiming the Bears will never eat a contract even though there are numerous examples of them doing it.
