mark it down, Dan and Terry both say the team has quit.

I love this show more and more...

They've been playing terrible the past month. Dan is right.

this transition has been fun. I think it's undeniable that Jason will at least be a short term shot in the arm for this station.

Hey, I didn't say Dan was wrong. But crazy things happen in the playoffs.

Do you dress Dan in the mornings too?

This reaction is just what Dan is looking for when he acts like he does.

As far as this twitter thing goes, I would rather know that both of them are playing us like a fiddle than know that it's real and Spiegel is taking it this personally.

Today sounded 100% tongue-in-cheek. Nothing to see here*

*Beardown will start four threads about it

Sure sounded genuine on Spiegs part. He does not like Bernsie. And Bernsie doesn't care and will keep doing what he's doing.

I think the Spiegel vs. Bernstein thing is real. Spiegel is genuinely bothered by him. Bernstein knows it and loves to needle him whenever he can.

I don't doubt that Spiegel dislikes Dan, but today felt light-hearted.

What is the point of grandstanding on Winston when he will be Lovie's issue? From Penn St. on down I will never understand the national grandstanding on a station who's niche is Chicago's station.

Due to Sox game making stream go CBS radio I went W&S. You know what I think I may have to just start making that switch more often. Not perfect but it isn't this.

I lost it when Silvy told the story about downing the fudge then being forced to tick it up to the fourth belt notch.

I didn't hear that and my wife or radio partner is dumb but really it doesn't offend me so much.

Regular season doesn't matter though.

So many WYC moments for tomorrow (if they even decide to do it). For the last five years, we've heard almost daily during the basketball season that the regular season is unimportant and that there are many ebbs and flows to a regular season. "Don't pay much attention to it until the start of April."

Bulls beat the Rockets on January 5th, Bernstein and his puppet proclaim the Bulls are going to stroll right to the Finals. Fast forward a month and a half later, the Bulls are a giant mess and Rose being hurt doesn't even matter because they have no chance at a championship this year. Oh, but despite Rose, Butler and Gibson being hurt, the Bulls are a whole half game out of second in the East. Yet, we can't be happy about any Bulls games because they're clearly not going anywhere.

They've done 180's on both Cleveland and Washington this year too. Keep on contradicting yourselves, gentlemen.

They generally advise to not pay attention, or give significance to the NBA regular season because it's meaningless. However, the results of Bulls games are often used to explain why the Bulls are not as good as originally thought; when the Cavs win, it's because they are coming together, when they lose, they weren't interested in playing that evening.

For such an intelligent show (sarcasm intended), they jump to a lot of conclusions quickly based on limited regular season games.
